I met Dave's new family yesterday and they are so lovely! I carried out the home visit via video call last night and I can safely say he is one very lucky boy. The photo sent later to show what they have bought him leaves me in doubt as to whether there is anything left in Pets at Home!!!!! :-)))))) Spoilt will be his middle name - lucky boy! x

Sabby (I now call him Sammy) is such a wonderful boy and I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed this morning as he has a viewing with a neighbour of mine! I have been taking him home since Wednesday and he is absolutely amazing - seriously, if I did have room for an extra set of legs, I wouldn't hesitate. He is outrageously different to the dog we had at the kennels - stressed, barking, unsettled. His trainer told us he used to be paired with a girl and as we have to keep them all separately due to COVID restrictions and the fact that we have no girls in at the moment was impossible! He sleeps downstairs all night on his own (he has the freedom to come upstairs if he wanted where Tiggy and Momma sleep) but he stays downstairs on his big round fluffy bed. He has totally mastered 'wee wee outside'! Yesterday I took him for his neutering operation at Fivelands - (he was an excellent traveller) where they all fell in love with him! He has recovered very well and I am hoping very soon he will be in a home of his own so I can start working on the next one!!!!!! I have just added a couple of photos to show how settled he is 🙂

Today was ffffffreezing cold!!! Ruth took Sabby for his neutering this morning and collected him this afternoon, he is spending the night with her. Dave had a viewing and was reserved, yay, his family are very excited and he will have a new name! Watch this space. Thanks so much to Dave and Chris for their help today, as always very much appreciated. Back in on Sunday, here's to another good day. Take care all. Xx

Bonjour ,As-salamu alaykum , Hello ,Dzie? dobry , Like everyone of you is feeling at the moment, life seems pretty gloomy ,the first "lockdown" was bearable with blue skies and early April sunshine, showers and rainbows but now it seems so gloomy and yet there a rays of sunlight and Rainbows in your homes now whilst you are having that glass of wine or brandy and coke and watching Eastenders or coronation street or worse still ... the News take a moment (and I'm not just talking about the daily walks) , commit just 1/2 an hour of your life to just STOP, doing anything else , turn it all off and Playfight , love , cuddle or whatever else that makes your Greyhounds happy , if that means trying to teach Celia to jump up like Jess does whilst listening to Avichii Hey Brother who cares about dog social etiquette when they have to be 2 meters away from everyone anyway and should this ever end and we get close to people again with her muddy paws , well then that's there problem for getting too close to my girls. Take a look at your Greyhound NOW in this moment what is he or she doing and more importantly WHAT ARE YOU DOING with them? He or she may seem to be comfortably sleeping whilst you worry about the world , so just STOP and spend 1/2 an hour inside your house just totally focused on your hound without anything else. Put some music on and have a dance with a greyhound.... Nothing else Matters... better still ( would you expect anything else from me?) listen to Justin Bieber and do all of the above ...my girls love him Jeffrey

Phantom has had an upset tum for the last couple of days but today he seemed much better. :)) His whole world has been turned upside down in just a few days, it must be quite daunting and unsettling for a lad who has lived happily in the same kennels for quite some time to come somewhere new. Xxx

Dave came out into one of the runs this afternoon for a wee...he thought it was dinner time and was so very disappointed when I went in to put him back in his kennel. He kept looking at me and then at the door to the kitchen as if to say, "Haven't you forgotten something?" He is a lovely lad. :)) Xxx

It was great to see Kevin reserved today. :)) He is such a clown, it took Shirley and I ages to get his coat on this morning. He kept twirling round to look at us and have a cuddle. His coat ended up wrapped around his legs! Xxx

Joe here its been awhile since I have posted anything only my hooman mum lost her password and didnt have the time to sort a new one. I have been having so much fun upending something called the waste paper basket most weeks it goes everywhere! I got a bag of pigs ears for Christmas but I’m not allowed to eat them all in one go so decided to try and make a hole in the bottom of the bag but got caught! I also decided to help with the painting of the office but my hooman mum told me that I didn’t look good in Magnolia I thought I looked great personally. Oh well I am enjoying living with my sister Lottie who doesn’t tell me off too often usually only when I try take her biscuits but she eats so slow!

Kevin came with me to Elmdon Park today. He is a very sweet boy, who is really just a puppy still. We met lots of dogs and he was fine with all of them. If anything, I think he was a little wary, despite the fact that he towered over them all!! He also stood nicely for some fuss from a little girl. Congratulations on your reserved sign xx
