Daybreaks Diary!

It was dry and a little chilly today. We had a lovely new arrival, Be a, she is so sweet and really loves her food! Jewel, now Daphne went home this morning and Lucy now Lexie went this afternoon, so a fairly busy day. The weather was kind so morning and afternoon walks were done. Thanks to our Wednesday walkers who come in the morning, and to our regular volunteers as ever. Not really much more to report, all in all a good day. X

I don't think it rained today! :)) Everyone enjoyed two walks without getting wet. 🙂 Jewel had a visit from her soon to be new Mom; she enjoyed all the extra attention and cuddles that came her way. Xx Queeny sat in the kitchen run and enjoyed the morning sunshine. She is a very sweet girl. Helen came in and sat with her for quite sometime Queeny would love a home with someone who is around a lot as she does like company and lots of cuddles!:)) Rocky had a trip to the park, he loved it! Thanks so much to Norman for taking him. Xx Gold was a happy boy this morning and had a little race around in the small run whilst waiting for his breakfast this morning. 🙂 Lucy and Jewel are hopefully both going home tomorrow! How exciting! :)) Xxx Many thanks to everyone who helped at the kennels today. :)) Xxx

Rocky paid his first visit to Brueton park today and what an absolute star he was. He met small dogs at close quarters with no problems. Fine with children and travelled well in the car. He was a little keen at first on the lead but then settled well . A lovely lad who is going to be a wonderful addition to any home.

At last good news from the New Forest. Stanley is 12 years old today. He has been with us for 7.5 years 2740 days (who's counting!). The years have passed quickly since Stanley & Gemma chose each other and again 18 months since Stanley & Daisy chose each other. He has been a good brother to them both as they say the rest is history. As Lady Victoria always says they are all special and inidividual (she is always right). Stan & Daisy are our 3rd 4th greys. Started March 2005 with Brandy, Gemma in October 2012. They are the first thing to sort in the morning and last thing at night. We all would like to thank you all for the fantastic work in rehoming in these unprecedented times. Good luck to all the carers, greys and all take care. Love Stanley, Daisy, Tim & SUe, Anna (Spanner) xxxx P:S: remember always "Tomorrow will be a good day" (Tim is reading Captain Tom at the moment). To all those we have loved and lost and are always forever in our thoughts.

Well we are at home now! It was sooooo fun in the caravan! My own secure garden, own private path to the beach, a sofa and my lovely hoomans! We had a greyt time! Can’t wait to go back again on Saturday! Lubs Russ Xx

Oh my, in contrast to yesterday it was manic today! Vic went home with a lovely batman Martingale! Good luck to him and his family. We had Sharron Alexander photography in today and she had several bookings for the photoshoot. Thanks so very much to her and for taking photos of my Sarah Scare Bear. X We saw little Lucy reserved, and Jewel and Molly, wow three reserved dogs in a day, fantastic!!! Ruth was in and went to visit a recently rehomed dog to help with some training techniques, she then had two bookings back at the kennels for corn removals! It was greyt to see Rosie and Flash today who went out to the same home a few weeks ago, they looked fab. Massive thanks to everyone who came in to help today, you are all amazing and I really genuinely appreciate your help. I finally got breakfast/lunch around 3 o'clock this afternoon, thanks for all who fed me coffee throughout the day to keep me going in the meantime, I was starting to flag a little by then!!! Xx Here's hoping for a great week ahead. Take care all. Xxx
