Sadly Polly has been returned today. Her owner found her too strong on the lead, she says that she is very good in the house, loves people and is a lovely girl.

Daybreaks Diary!

Thank you to Jess for taking the new photos of our three Daybreaks residents today. :)) Jayne got to work tidying The Honesty Box, our Charity Shop. Lots of interesting things to buy. Xx Thanks to everyone for your very kind donations of bedding and towels. Shirley has made it her mission this past week to find a place for every duvet, blanket, pillow etc....we have more ready for her to "file" next week! Xxx

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Lovely Flash is a very nervous girl at the moment. However she did venture out of her kennel when I left the door open before I went home tonight. She had a wander down the corridor before running back to her bed. :). She is very sweet and gentle and will take a treat from you. Xxx

Sam had a paddle in the pool this afternoon and he had a teddy to play with, he enjoyed throwing him around. :)) His stay with Rosie and Paul has been good for him. His wonderful personality is beginning to emerge. Hoping so much he will soon find his perfect home. Xxx

What a cool looking Linford! 🙂 He is a great lad. He enjoyed playing with some toys today and was a very quick learner with the Kong treat toy....do hope he won't be waiting too much longer for his forever home. He is getting a little fed up of his kennel and is waiting patiently for someone special to come along. Xxx

I just wish we could get you a forever sofa my lovely - may have to reinstate the phone photo screensaver with you as my first candidate! You may be a bit vocal until you come out of your kennel, but you're just reminding us not to forget about you - and you do love to lean! Fingers crossed for you my boy. xx

It was nice to see Sam again this morning, and his confidence has definitely improved. A little unsure at first, as I was really a new face again, we soon had the waggy tail back. This lovely chap is in need of his forever sofa - preferably with a sweet little girl already on it! Big cuddles handsome. xx

Over the Rainbow Bridge
I met this pretty little girl this morning and my goodness - what a nervous little bean she is. She did eat her breakfast though, and then sat in the corner of the feeding run like a "proper dog" until I had finished cleaning her kennel bless her. Still a youngster, she needs time and patience and a furry friend to show her the way - she gets my cuddle today. xx

It was an absolute pleasure to attend Ruth and Andy's wedding today. Despite all the restrictions due to the Corona Virus, it was a very happy and joyful occasion. Ruth looked beautiful as did her fabulous bridesmaids Tiggy and Momma! :)) There were also several other four legged well wishers! :)) It was lovely to see Bob give her away...Many congratulations and much love to the happy couple.
