Flash
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Flash...Ahhhh...saviour of the universe! Well not quiet but this lovely Flash came along with Lucy this morning and she is a little unsure of her surroundings at the moment and wonders whats going on. I told her not to worry as she will be loved and cared for at Daybreaks while she waits for her forever home. Having got back to Daybreaks Flash did start to come out of her shell a little, I'm sure there is a happy little girl in there trying to come out and play. It will be nice to watch her settle into kennel routine and begin to flourish. I hope a nice comfy sofa is just around the corner for her. Perhaps a home with a confident dog will help her too xx

I had the pleasure of collecting this little lady earlier today and wow what an absolutely adorable little stunner. I was immediately smitten by her kisses and happy personality. On my way back in the trust van I had the window down as it was warm and Lucy had her little nose on my shoulder all the way back to Daybreaks. I will be amazed if her stay at Daybreaks lasts more than a day or two,she's so nice. I love all our dogs but occasionally one comes along that's a bit special and Lucy is one such dog. She will make someone a super fun loving pet xx

Sam was playing with me this morning!! So happy :)))) He is so pleased to see me when I come downstairs (we have to move anything that might get swished off the coffee table with his windmilling tail!!) and then he was play bowing and did a couple of fast circles with his bum tucked in. He’s having to go back to the kennels tomorrow so please someone take this gorgeous boy home and develop the wonderful relationship that is waiting. He loves people once he has the confidence and will be really loyal and such fun Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

Another busy day...thanks to everyone for their help Bookings for nail cutting, one of which was little Daisy who had her very own 18 day adventure recently when she got startled and escaped. She looks fantastic and her confidence has really come on, certainly not the shy timid girl that I remember from the kennels. We had two new arrivals, little girls Flash and Lucy. They are So sweet. Noddy had a viewing and Liz_Beth got her wish, off he went to his new home, they loved the write up about his visit to the park with her yesterday. He was quickly followed by Mae. Both have lovely homes and we are just waiting to see what their owners will change their names to, if they do! The sand run is available for bookings, so please just give us a call. If you do want to visit the kennels we are still running an appointment system, please call ahead. Looks like another busy day tomorrow with viewings booked, fingers crossed for more furever homes for our lovely residents. Xx

Met this friendly boy briefly today. He came to the front of his kennel to say hello with his little tail wagging I thought to myself there would no problem in a house with that tail knocking things off the coffee table!! But you would still know how happy is to see you. Hoping someone special spots his potential soon huge cuddles for him xxxx

Gorgeous Noddy came with me to Elmdon Park today. He is such a handsome boy. He bounced out of his kennel and was very happy to be going for a walk. He walks very well and enjoys taking in all the new sights and sounds. I did wonder at one point though if I had actually got a dressage horse at the end of the lead as he was positively prancing along! He was a pleasure to be with. Hoping that he finds his forever sofa very soon xx

I was greeted by a very happy Linford-Bob tail this morning. :)) As he only has a very short tail the whole of his bottom "wags" to greet you! He is great and gets my cuddle tonight! 🙂 Xxx

Sam came to the kennels with Rosie today. It was lovely to see him. He was a little wary when he first arrived but absolutely loves other dogs and his tail wagged madly when Katie brought Monty in to have his nails trimmed, :)) Xxx

Please can someone offer beautiful Noddy a home! He has to suffer me singing the theme tune to "The Adventures of Noddy" every time I take him out of his kennel! Until today I only knew the first line but my partner played it via the internet tonight so now I know it all! Noddy desperately needs rescuing and taking home! He is a super lad who will be a great friend and companion. :)) Xxx
