Over the Rainbow Bridge
Flash is such a lovely girl...she is now getting off her bed to come and see you. 🙂 She does love her food and when she has finished her meal will sit up the corner of the run like a "real" dog! I think this is because she is nervous and she wants to keep out of the way. However she does like her ears being rubbed. 🙂 Xx Diane took her out on her own yesterday and she coped very well. We still feel she would be happier with other doggy company when she goes home. She brightens up when she sees one of the other dogs, boy or girl. She met our resident cats Socks and Tike yesterday, she was great with them. Socks was very happy rubbing around her back legs! 🙂 We will be testing her again in a couple of days. Xxx

Diane walked Polly yesterday morning with myself and Yardy. She walks beautifully on the lead and didn't pull at all. She was quite happy having Yardy as a walking companion. I understand she is quite keen on small fluffies and that is when she gets excited. I am sure with someone who is willing to offer some training, time and patience she will be a fabulous little girl. :)) Xxx

Jack arrived at the kennels with Yardy...he is a happy lad but lacks Yardy's confidence. He is a happy little soul but was quite stressed the day he arrived and again yesterday. Hopefully he will soon settle into his new surroundings. He has a very sweet disposition and is also very handsome! :))

I took Yardy for a walk along the lane yesterday morning before it got too hot! It was his first walk since he arrived at the kennels. He was very keen to see everything and was particularly interested in the workmen and what they were doing! :)) He was very strong on the lead but sure he will calm down. In his kennel he is so very happy to meet everyone and gives your hands a real good wash!! A super lad who I'm sure when he goes off to his forever home will grab his new life with all four paws!! :)) Xxx

It was a pleasure to meet Linford yesterday. Vic our hound, was very relaxed with him, and although he showed an interest in Hope, the pointer cross, he wasn't lunging after her. I wish him all the best in his new home. Yes, it's a shame he has lost his tail, but his ears told us what he was thinking!

Hi Jeff, love reading about your girls! My three all have very different approaches to having wee...Skip just stops and goes, which can be embarrassing if there is someone walking behind us! Fletch has to get in just the right position and angle; if he isn't happy we have to move along to the next shrub or tree. :)) Lyra likes to wander off dragging us all with her to until she finds the exact right spot! :)) They really do make you smile don't they'! Xxx

I am so happy for Linford! He has found himself a lovely home. :)) Thanks so much to Erik for taking him out for what was a very interesting trip to the park! 🙂 He probably hasn't seen a duck before or a pond! :))) Can't wait to see him tomorrow and tell him he is Reserved! :)) Xxx
