Poor George left on his own 🙁 I asked Simon why he didn't bring him back to us for the night. It's very hot here so he's probably better off in his cool kennel, I suppose. He's getting my cuddle today and I'm hoping he'll get reserved very soon. He's a lovely boy. He may seem a little quieter than some of the recent residents but we've seen a lovely character coming out (he may need a slow feeder until he realises he's not going to starve!!) x

Daybreaks Diary!

Lovely to have Denise back today and also to see some familiar faces. Ruth was off to clear more stuff from the Swan office with a band of merry helpers, very tired one's I think when they finished. Morgan has gone off to his new home, he has a lovely brother, Grayson! Poor socks had a trip to the vet, she has a water infection and now has antibiotics. To add insult to injury the vet said she needs to lose weight! Bless, she's never been a small cat, she's just big boned!! Thanks to everyone who came in and helped today. I felt so sad leaving George on his own, he is a lovely boy. X

Very sadly Morgan has come back to the kennels today. The genetlman who took him home says he is a lovely dog and has done nothing wrong. He is so sorry to have let Morgan down and hopes he will soon find his perfect home. Unfortunately things don't always work out how we would like them to. Xxx BUT...Morgan has someone coming to see him tomorrow morning! :)) Xxx

Russ
Over the Rainbow Bridge
We have had Russ over 6 months now and his confidence is fantastic you could say too confident. He wants fuss all the time and once he has had his late night walk you can’t shift him till lunch time the next day. He can’t be bothered to even get up for breakfast because he knows it will be still there when he gets up. He never forgets anything and chasing cats and squirrels are a hobby of his and he know where they all live in the area and looks for them when he goes out. He is a born leader and he tells us so everyday. He is always telling us what to do and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Daybreaks Diary!

Wow what a busy day... I did Morgan’s home visit by WhatsApp and then spent the day at the Swan office which looked like a bomb had gone off as we were clearing with the help of Dave, Simon, Ian and Tina - clearing and being totally ruthless!!!!! Angie and Michael started clearing our ‘show costumes and props.... such a lot has been accrued over the years. At the kennels I went in with little Belle who unfortunately had ‘trashed’ her kennel overnight (scream) but is getting so much braver already and when Kate spent time with her in the run, she kept going back for fuss... so pleasing to see x I’m doing George’s home check via WhatsApp this morning - he is such a gorgeous boy and we are looking forward to our new arrivals hopefully soon.
