Bobby (and us) would like to say a massive thank you to Ruth who ran to his rescue when he somehow managed to get his head through the bars of the baby gate in the kitchen at the kennels and got completely stuck. Doesn't bear thinking about what might have happened if she hadn't been there and acted so promptly. Xx

I walked with Gal’s prospective owner when he came to view her and he was so kind. I am so happy to see her reserved as she is just such a bundle of joy. Can’t wait to see her sign turn green

It was a busy day today... This morning I carried out a home check for the gentleman who has reserved our lovely Gal. She is going to be a very spoilt and much loved little girl....Great! :)) Xxx Robin went out on trial to her new home. Thanks so much to Shirley and Richard for taking her. Do hope all goes well for this sweet little lass. Xxx This afternoon Rocky was officially adopted! :)) It certainly brightened up a wet afternoon! Wishing him a wonderful new life. He has waited so long. Lots of love to him and his family. Xxx Thank you so much to everyone who helped at the kennels today. You are all brilliant! Xxx Xxx

Rocky and his family came in to make his adoption official this afternoon! Xxx He was so relaxed and happy when he arrived at the kennels. It's obvious how much he loves his new Mum and Dad and his new life. Dear Vanessa and Mark, thank you for giving Rocky a fabulous home. 🙂 You have not only made him very happy but also his many friends and followers very happy too! xxxxx

What a lovely lad Josh is....he really loves a cuddle and gets very excited to go out for his walks. He likes company and has enjoyed sitting in the doggy kitchen watching all that's going on. Xxx He isn't really happy in a kennel environment as sometimes it's too noisy for him. He likes a nice quiet life! Xxx xxx

May enjoyed her walk around Elmdon Park today. She had no problems meeting other breeds and although keen on the lead was manageable. She thought squirrel spotting was particularly exciting!!!! A lovely girl who deserves to find that loving permanent home ASAP

Tony is home WARNING…. It’s going to be a post like an Oscar’s speech! I want to say thank you to those who took the time to comment following the tragic loss of our precious boy Tony. It meant so much to us. My gratitude goes to Kate and Debbie at Fivelands Vets for their help and compassion and to Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service for looking after him in critical care prior to us saying goodbye. Our sincere thanks go to Graham and Joe at Companions Pet Cremation Services in Wythal for their amazing support and compassion. It truly helped us knowing Mr T was treated with kindness and respect on his final journey. I’ll never forget the way you helped me when I brought him on his last journey to you - you became friends that day…. Finally thank you to my true friends who has supported me in my distraught disbelief of his tragedy with calls and messages - we are still numb and broken. Thank you to Tanworth Garage (Tony was well known there!) for the beautiful bouquet and to Mollie for lovely photo frame and flowers. I think you will miss his constant licking! Life was enriched by having Tony since he came to us as a returnee in February 2021. He left a legacy of being the perfect boy everybody wanted to adopt. Peaky Brummie 22/8/18 - 26/10/23

You have always been a lovely calm boy when I have seen you & you have let me sit in your kennel quietly with you. I am going to talk to Auntie Ruth & Auntie Kate about a break at Christmas. You have said hello to Fergal and he is such a calm & placid elderly boy that maybe you would feel safe with us. We have a very quiet and calm home with rarely any visitors and some nice quiet country village walks so maybe????? Hopefully it might be a possibility, just to give you a well deserved break. I am busy until after Santa Paws so its no good before Christmas but as I have my own version of lockdown in Jan & Feb I could then give you lots of attention & walkies etc. Obviously we would need you to have a few meets with Fergal prior to Christmas. Have a think Josh.....we wont be offended if you don't want to. Lots of love & cuddles Seana & Fergal. Xx

Congratulations darling. Your own mature, single Mummy all for yourself to enjoy life with. After your dreadful falling out with Blossom which was so sad I really hope you are now physically healed.....I didnt get a chance to have a look last week as it was just a quick cuddle & a quick hello between you & Fergal due to so many people coming & going at Morrisons. A quiet calm dog free environment is just what you need now for the rest of your retirement. I truly wish you and your new Mum all the very best for the future and I hope that although it is so difficult & upsetting that Annette will rest at ease knowing you have a nice sofa all to yourself. I so greatly sympathise and although I have never really come to terms with what happened with my boys I have had the gratitude of knowing that Henry has had a fab 7+ years with Mark who has loved him so much & got him to 14+....praying he will see 15 next March!! Knowing when it sometimes sadly doesnt work out the way we want but does work out successfully elsewhere does at least give great comfort. I have tried so hard since 2016 to take comfort every time I think about my boy knowing he has a lovely home. I hope Annette will find peace now and that her remaining two girls will settle nicely. Good luck Robin and lots of love Seana & Fergal. Xx
