Joe has had a really good couple of days I have been home and both dogs have been in the garden most of the day with me, I turned around to find them side by side asleep in the shade it would have been a lovely photo howeverJoe was on his back with all four feet in the air showing everything whilst Lottie was being a proper lady very elegantly sleeping on her side.

Happy Easter to Everyone associated with Daybreaks, especially the lovely people who are fostering dogs over this horrible time. Were having to give Ash extra strokes, he doesn't understand why our assorted neighbours no longer make a big fuss of him when we're out! Take care and stay safe. Xx

I’m Homed
Danny was unfortunately returned today. His owner was tending to the chickens and he lunged towards them. Unfortunately his owner got bitten. Andy and I collected him from Ross on Wye and dropped him at his new foster home in Banbury. His foster parents are experienced and we exchanged paperwork on the doorstep with gloves and face masks. I have been in touch and heard that he has settled well - he has had a bath and is sunbathing in the garden. He is just so sweet.

3 years since I held my hadsome, soft, daft boy as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Never a day passes when I don't think of you, you helped me through some tough times. Russ
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Russ is in charge of our house barks and growls at me if I stop stroking him. Barks when it’s time to go out. Likes his biscuits dunked in coffee and even brought the kitchen bowl to me in the garden and then run off. He tells us when it’s dinner time and has the best seat on the sofa and cushions to lie on. Very clever boy who is loved very much.

Just catching up on the Daybreaks news and am heartbroken to hear about Bobby. Such a lovely boy. You gave him such a wonderful life after June passed away. He'll now be at Rainbow Bridge with June, my beautiful Bert and all our boys and girls we miss so badly. Run free beautiful boy. x

Oh Kate I am so very sorry to read this sad news. Bobby came to you in very special circumstances and you dedicated yourself to his care and did him very proud indeed. What a miracle dog he was and I’m sure he’s with June and reunited they are smiling together about the compassion of true friends, that’s you and John, Lyra, Skip & Fletch. Ver sadly beautiful Maisie has gone to Rainbow Bridge today. Her Mom, Carol is heartbroken. Maisie was a very special girl who found true happiness with Carol after a very unsettled time in her previous home. They had five wonderful years together. Xxx When I visited Carol, Maisie was always a very happy girl who greeted you with a waggy tail and a very expectant glint in her eye that you would take her for a walk, which of course I did! :)) Xx Sending lots of love to Carol and to Diane and Jo who due to Carol's recent ill health have been taking Maisie for her walks. I know they are both heartbroken too. God Bless you lovely Maisie, will miss you so much. Xxx
