Monty was getting a little jelous yesterday when I visited the kennels. I was in with Gino and out the blue Monty decided to get a bit noisey by letting me know he wanted me to go and see him too. And I wouldn't miss a dog out for a visit and cuddle. So it was his turn next. Bless him...

FINALLY saw Gino yesterday. His a great sized lad. Was excited to see someone at his kennel. Didnt batter an eye lid when we piled in to see him. So lovely this guy is.

Met Babe yesterday in the office where it was lovely and warm. She is such a cuddle monster! With her extremely soft fur and her coat on she snuggled and leant up me straight away when we first met. She started licking my face and my jacket too... Such a kind and loving gal

Billy

I took Billy to Elmdon Park today. He was a very good boy. We met big and small dogs and whilst he was maybe a bit exuberant with the first little dog we meet, he did then learn that it was ok to greet at a slower pace or even that he didn't have to acknowledge every dog. He's a very handsome boy, who loves attention and fuss xx

We have some fantastic dogs at the moment, all loving and cheeky characters. But I think my current favourite has to be Gino. He's a lovely lad with lots of love to give and some playfulness in those eyes too. I do hope he finds his forever family soon xxx

Monty

Monty was up to his usual trick of stealing today... :)) Shirley was grooming one of the dogs and had hung their coat over the bars of the adjacent run. Well, Monty happened to be next door, he couldn't resist trying very gently to pull the coat through to his side without anyone noticing! He was caught in the act but showed no remorse, just wagged his tail. :)) Xxx

Skip

It was Skip's 10th birthday on the 18th. The weather was too cold to go outside so we stayed in the warm and they all had lots of treats. They had TWO packets of Butternut box food for tea instead of one. Skip is doing well all things considered (cancer aged 4 and a spinal stroke aged 5). He's on plenty of medication to keep him pain free and he has hydrotherapy and physio. He's able to do a couple of 2 mile walks a week with his brother and sister (he prefers sniffinks to walking!!!) He's not playing quite as much as he used to but does have a little run in the garden with Nadie sometimes. I bought home an orthopedic bed for upstairs at night time and he loves the Orvis sofa style dog bed downstairs which we won at Crufts a few years ago.
