2019 Daybreaks Diary!

I know we are coming up to winter, but today was bitterly cold. Despite that all dogs had morning and afternoon walks. Thanks as always to our Wednesday walkers. It was lovely to see Ruth today with Tig and Momma. She left me charged with some admin tasks. They will hopefully be done by the end of the week. We have tickets available for our Countdown to Christmas event on 23rd November. On sale we also have Christmas cards, calendars and mugs for sale. Give us a call if you would like any of these items and we can find out what the postage is and send them to you, how cool is that?

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Louise had her neutering operation today. She was very wobbly when Lucy and I picked her up this afternoon. Hoping she will feel better tomorrow. Xxx Lola has gone home! Wishing her and her lovely new family lots of happy times together. Xxx The rain stayed away for both morning and afternoon walks. Evie was so excited to be going out, she was bouncing around! :)) Thanks so much to Lucy for the updated photos on the website. Meena's new photo is great! :)) Thanks everyone for all your help today. Xxx Tonight is the first night for what seems like an eternity that my Lyra and Fletcher haven't been stressed by the sound of fireworks. I hate to see them looking so upset. 🙁 Hoping they will soon want to go out for evening walks again... Xxx

Lola is officially ours! We are over the moon to have brought her home. She is an absolute dream, the perfect little lady, and a very special addition to our family. 2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Not a good start for me today...I got stuck in horrendous traffic after a van overturned. Hopefully no one was injured. I am so grateful to. Bella, Yvonne and Vanessa for looking after everything. I didn't arrive until 9.40am!!! Seeing Tatty now called Mystique Meg go home with Shirley and her gang really cheered me up! :)) Xxx Thanks to all our great volunteers for their help. The dogs enjoyed going out and not getting wet! Xxx

Evie has a fun loving nature. She makes me smile. When my hound is excited he has to fetch a toy, Evie doesn't have that option so today she tried to get Kristoffs coat off him, then pinched the muzzle, then got the end of his lead, then the edge of the blanket. All the time with a mischievous glint in her eye. She treats having her harness put on as a game and, as Si said, she has to sniff everywhere!! Shes a lovely girl xxxxx

My first time walking Danny today. I think he is a lovely chap. He was easy to lead up even though he was keen to be on the move. Once out of the kennel he was perfect on the lead, not bothered by the traffic noise, happily walking by my side, plus hes tall enough to stroke as he's walking. Xxxxxxx
