Willis went off to his new home today, which leaves our little Dew Drop on her own. :(( We feel she would need the company of another dog to help boost her confidence. She will be at the Dog Show tomorrow if you would like to meet her. Xxx

Willis has found himself a lovely new home. His family travelled all the way from Scotland to meet him. He has a new girlfriend to share his life with who has been very sad since she lost her Greyhound brother a few weeks ago. We were hoping to find Willis and Dewey a home together but we felt it was right to give Willis the chance of his forever home. Fingers crossed the right home for Dewey will soon come along. Xxxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

It was a very busy day today 🙂 Willis has found himself a great new home. His family travelled all the way from Scotland to meet him. He has a lovely new girlfriend to share his life with. :)) Xxx Topper, now called Grayson finally got to go home with Sarah and Steve. :)) In between the homings we had viewings which were very promising. Xx Jayne brought in the calendars for next year. They are fabulous! We decided it would be a fitting way to remember Sara, our lovely longtime volunteer who passed away earlier this year by celebrating her life and featuring her and her dog Louis in the calendar. I am sure she would have been so happy to see Louis on the front cover. We are so grateful to Lucy for taking all of the photographs, brilliant job! The calendar costs £10 in the large A4 format and £6 as a slimline. If you would like to purchase the calendar they are on sale at the kennels and they will be available at the Dog Show tomorrow. All proceeds will got to Daybreaks Kennels and they Greyhounds in our care. Xxx Thank you so much to everyone for your help today. Xxx

Well done Willis! You have a perfect home with the grandma to all of us. You will have the best retirement in Scotland & want for nothing. There is even a Greyhound cottage in your garden where all your friends come to visit. Your grandad always has sausages too & gives the best cuddles. Hope you packed your kilt for your day trips to Edinburgh. You also have a big houndie holibobs booked in May. See you there, Duke & Star & our hoos.
