Razzle Dazzle, Happy Birthday! So sorry we couldn't get the sun to shine for you this afternoon. 🙁 I have just been sitting in his kennel with him hoping the rain will stop so he can go for a walk! Sendng him a big cuddle and lots of love. Fingers crossed his forever home will soon be his. He is a very special lad. Xxx

Happy birthday Cello. Another year has passed and my little Jelly Belly is now 11. A little bit more grey but just as cute. Lots of love and kisses from Millie and Murphy. Special tea tonight (fishfingers) and lots of cuddles from mum and dad.

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

It was a lovely morning and thanks to our great volunteers we managed to get the morning and afternoon walks done before the dreaded rain returned. :)) Jet's family came to visit him this afternoon. They brought their daughter to meet him, she really liked him! He will hopefully be going home next week. 🙂 Topper's Dad came to see him too. Topper was due to go for his neutering op tomorrow's , but sadly he has had a diarrhoea again today. We have had to postpone his operation again! Poor lad. Xx Thanks to everyone for their help today. It was lovely to Amanda with her gorgeous girl Jasmine. She has recovered well after her dental op last week. She was happy to spend the day in the back kitchen with Bobby....he is always pleased to meet a pretty young lady! :))) Ruth came in to see us today. :)) She looked a lot bettet than the last time I saw her. Xxx Xxx

As I've said before, about this gorgeous boy, Tommy can be quite vocal in his kennel but take him for a walk or sit and fuss him and he responds with lots of licks. I think with his own sofa and family he will amazing. Cuddles xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

What a horrible start to the day, I didn't think it would ever stop raining. We had enough help to manage morning and afternoon walks, thankfully in between downpours. As there were enough of us in we were able to tackle some of the jobs which have to be put to one side as the priority is of course, the residents. All the kennel coats were sorted in to type and size and are now neatly folded and stacked in the appropriate places. Thanks to our college placement students for doing this. The office had a bit of reorganization, hopefully it will meet with approval (don't panic Kate, it's not that bad, hopefully)! Thanks for the donations of bedding, always gratefully received. Only one visitor to use the sand run, not really surprised considering the weather. Graysons pawrents came to visit him and get their daily fix! Not long now before he goes home. There were a couple of visitors who came along with a view to volunteering in the future. They were very impressed. Well, another week is upon us, as ever I wish to see more red and green signs for our residents. Oh, Just a reminder, we now have tickets for sale for our 'Countdown to Christmas' evening on 23rd November at Exiles Rugby Club. Hot buffet, bar, stalls and a small floorshow by our 'Daybreaks got Talent' team, and all for only £8 per ticket....bargain! If you want to order tickets over the phone just call and have your debit/credit card details to hand and we will be pleased to take your money!!!
