Charlie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Devastated to report that Charlie went over the rainbow bridge on Sunday the 18th of August due to Osteosarcoma. He has left a huge hole in our hearts but he will be fondly remembered by everyone who he came in contact with. Up until the end he never complained, he got on as best he could, it was the most difficult decision we have ever made to end his suffering. Thank you for bringing Charlie into our family x

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Brilliant to have lots of doggies getting ready to go to their new homes :)) We have a new boy and girl arriving tomorrow and more next week. Our waiting list is currently approximately 80 dogs waiting for a place at Daybreaks, We are hoping to make a big dent in it over the next couple of weeks. :))) Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

A great warm and sunny day. Thanks as ever to our Wednesday walkers and to our afternoon volunteers for giving the dogs two lovely walks. Another resident reserved, well done Razzle :)) We will shortly be running out of hounds soon!! I suspect over the next few days as our current reserve's start to go out to their forever homes we will start to get our new bunch of new dogs looking for a home.

Well done handsome. Assuming its the retired couple I met today who were looking to home someone. In my mind I thought you might suit them but I didn't want to say so just in case I jinxed it!! Hope it is them. They seemed really nice. There soon won't be any boys or girls to look after!! Hope new arrivals are imminent Xx

Razzle is loving being in the kitchen run with Honey G.He likes to quietly watch what's going on and looked very comfy lounging on his bed in the sunshine today. . 🙂 He had a play in the sand run and actually brought his toy back to have it thrown again for him. He also came back to us when he was called. I'm sure his forever home will soon be his and whoever gets to take him home will be very lucky to have such a gorgeous lad. Xxx Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Lots of volunteers today so the doggies had two good walks, mostly in the sunshine. :)) Wolfy and his Mom and Dad came to visit us today, he looks great. He had his nails clipped and was then off to Melbicks to the cafe for sausages! His Mom says he isn't spoilt but ruined!! :)) Thanks so much to everyone for their help today. Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Annie and Elsa were paired up yesterday, they seem fine together so far. :)) Razzle has also moved kennels and is now sharing the kitchen kennel and run with Honey G. 🙂 We had a lovely lady from the Body Shop join us for the day as her Charity Day. She has helped us before. She is hoping one day to adopt a Greyhound. :)) Emma, thanks so much for your enthusiasm and willingness to do anything. Xx Bocko' new family came to visit him this afternoon, he had a great time in the sand run with him. Xx Many thanks to everyone for their help today. Jo, sorry your comment from yesterday disappeared....I can honestly say it wasn't me! Xx Xxx
