I took westy off for his neuter op today, he happily jumped in car and lay down, travelled really well and loved his hugs at the vets, hope he's not too sore tonight. X

Hector's still with us but still looking for his forever home. He's very good on the lead, gets on well with other dogs (although has to have a good sniff at small ones as he still finds it hard to believe something small can actually be a dog!), absolutely loves fuss, and can be left for quite a long time with no problem though he is with our dogs then. Please don't overlook this lovely boy xx

Another gorgeous big boy. After his bath I walked him and he was perfect on the lead and very responsive to being spoken to. I think I might be a little bit in love. Xxx

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Hey Stunning Spritz, I type this with tears spilling as you gorgeous, gracious girl, captured our hearts for the first time when we were lucky enough to meet (oh yes and fuss for ages!) you at Daybreaks last autumn. It was just a couple of days after that you were admitted to Willows with your nasty leg wound, when everyone following your journey was captivated by your strong will, bravery and zest for a better future.... which you clearly and most deservedly found with your new Mom, Dad and adorable Paddykins. Knowing that you ALL found each other for the most important, loved and treasured part of your journey is what Mom and Dad need to hold on to. You get our biggest ever electronic cuddle today beautiful and you are ALL in our thoughts. T&J xx Rosie & Brae send you the lickiest of licks too xx

Sara was truly part of the fabric of Daybreaks and always so chatty and helpful when I met her. I last saw her a couple of months ago and her determination to visit the kennels, despite her ill health, was nothing short of inspirational. Thinking of you all at this incredibly sad time. Mand xx

Condolences to all Sara’s family and friends, I’ll never forget our first meeting when Ruth let her loose with the till £264 !! To rehome Ronnie, thank God Ruth returned, Sara’s apology was “told you I don’t do money”:-) after losing Ronnie early this year I’d have paid it,he gave us so much pleasure and Sara always asked about him, she was a massive part of Daybreaks who I remember with fondness RIP Sara

I can't believe I will never see Sara again. She was the bravest and most determined person I have ever met. Despite her ill health and constant pain, she never gave up hope that she would one day be able to walk properly again and have another dog for Louis to play with. Xx She was unique and she was my friend...Sara, I promise not to mix the food bowls up with the water bowls! Now go and play with Charlie and Cracker, together again forever. Lots and lots of love. Xxxxxxxxxxx

What terrible news and I know the kennels will miss Sara so much. I remember when I took my first Grey home she let us see how she was with her non-greys and was a massive help around the kennels. Rest in peace and I’m sure you are up there giving all our greys on the bridge lots of love xxx

Such sad news. I remember the day well when she started volunteering at our kennels many years ago. Daybreaks without Sarah is unimaginable. Her spirit will live on at Daybreaks and I’m sure she will be looking after all our angels at The Bridge. Sleep tight dear Sarah xxxxx
