Hi Scootergirl. I am so very sorry for the loss of your lovely Auntie June, she will be very sadly missed. Please take comfort in the fact that Bobby will be so very well taken care of whilst he is with us. He is a lovely boy and hopefully some kind hearted family will offer him a home very soon. Jo xxx

Stefie
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well Stefie has been on an adventure this morning! I had a call at 7.30 this morning to ask if I had lost my dog! Thankfully not mine but I identified him from his tattoos as his tag had become worn so his details were difficult to read. He had slipped his collar and went exploring, eventually wandering up the drive to a lovely elderly couple who fed him rich tea biscuits until I arrived! He has just been reunited with his distraught owners and a new tag is being ordered for him. Stefie was oblivious to the stress caused and is back on his bed and waiting for breakfast to be served!

2019 Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
A lovely bright sunny day. All dogs managed two walks and Rocky had a blast in the sand run. Treaty had a visit to the park this aftrrnoon with Elizabeth, he is such a sweetie, very affectionate. Thanks for taking him Elizabeth. We had a couple of visitors come to use the sand run. Remember it is available every day, not only is it great fun for your dogs to have a good safe run, it is also great for training your dogs recall! Lorna had some bookings for pampers, one dog wasn't impressed but the other 2 loved it. If you want to book a pamper session contact the kennels, Lorna or Jess directly. As I have mentioned on Bobbys page he came into the office for the day. He was such a well behaved boy, he did make me laugh though when he realised where the dog biscuits were, didn't think that he would want any more after helping himself ar Ruth and Andy's house. He had a good sniff but didn't touch them. So very sad for this boy losing his lovely mom :((( Steve and Sarah were passing this afternoon and popped in, so very sorry for the loss of their boy Toby, always difficult even when you have gone through it youdself to know exactly what to say. He is now running at the bridge with his brother Will. It is wonderful to see the dogs characters change once they settle into their new kennel life. Nervous Nerys is now not at all nervous, quite the opposite in fact. Buster is so playful to the point when it was his turn for breakfast he refused to come out of his kennel until he had several tummy rubs! The pesky squirrels are out with vengeance, I am sure they wait until feeding time and run up and down the trees just to wind the dogs up (and I have to say it works)! Thanks to Bella for sorting the stair gates in the kitchen, and thanks to everyone who came in and helped today, as always really appreciated. Here's to another good week.

Shadow (Treaty) (Murphy)
I’m Homed
The lovely Treaty came to Elmdon Park with me today. He travelled well and lay down immediately. He has a lovely pace when walking. He isn't fazed by dogs in general but isn't too keen on them running straight at him (totally agree with him -who feels comfortable when someone runs straight at them at full speed!!!!). He did have a a little bark at these dogs but responds very calmly and positively to a firm 'no' command. When we got back to the kennels he was trying to investigate the contents of the bin and responded very well again to a firm no command. He's a quick learner and a very affectionate boy x
