Jet gets my cuddle today too. Skip likes to walk at the front so we walked with Jet a lot of the time on the Sheldon walk. He really is gorgeous with a super sleek coat. I'm sure he will become less anxious about other dogs once he's rehomed. He needs that special person or family to dedicate a bit of time - it's worth every second. Fingers crossed he doesn't have to wait long and the next time we walk with him is with his forever family. x

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Yet another fffreezing day today, and again the hose was froze until this aftrrnoon and the kennel buckets were frozen solid! Thanks everyone for their help today, as always very much appreciated. Thanks to all who took kennel dogs on the Sheldon Country park walk, it is great to get these dogs out and about and get the reports and feedback from their walkers. Those who were left behind had a nice walk down the lane 🙂 Lovely Josie had her home check and went 'home'. She is such a cheeky little girl, so cute. Gorgeous Genie had a viewing and has been reserved pending her home check, she will be one specialty spoiled little girl. Hopefully this week will see the temperature start to rise, that would be great. Take care all. X

Thank you for taking Mr Jet out this morning - the more he gets out and about the more used to the outside world he'll become and will realise he doesn't have to get so worked up about everything!! He is such a loving and fuss loving boy who really deserves his chance now. He gets my cuddle today, and my wish that my screensaver can work its magic again very soon! xx

Took this handsome boy out to the Sheldon country park walk today. He travelled beautifully in the car and lay down all the way. Walks really well on the lead and met a few non-greyhounds. He showed a friendly interest in them but didn't seem reactive. We heard a few squeaky barks from him but only because he wanted to join in with Rocky and Jet's chorus - I don't think he actually knew what he was squeaking at! He was really friendly and gentle with our greyhound Katy too. He's a great fella and will make a fantastic pet so I really think he won't wait long for his sofa
