Over the Rainbow Bridge
I am still devastated about Peggy - the only comfort is that I am so glad I took her home for a few nights last week so she had sofa cuddles. My heart goes out to her new family but mostly to Kate who had taken her to the vets yesterday morning and then took the call with the devastating news. We took comfort in taking her on her final journey to Heart of England together and we said our goodbyes..... Her ashes will be scattered on Wispa's grave at Daybreaks and a tag for her will hang on our tree of memory also at Daybreaks..... she will never be forgotten. Run free little one and shine bright with the stars forever xxxxxx

Sorry Auntie Klaire, when I see you again I’ll talk to Florence about it! Tell TC that Florence needs a brother. For example Buster as he could be cat friendly to teach her what’s wrong. I do this to mummy but it don’t work hopefully it will with you! Barney Xx

Now then Barney - we know that since your visit at Christmas Florence has tried out our bed, she knows she’s in the wrong and gets off when told. But last night she got on while I was in it and today when we returned from a short trip out one of my slippers was nestled between the pillows! Uncle TC says you can’t come again as you’re a bad influence........ Xxx

Wiping away tears for yet another beautiful and graceful individual taken far too soon. Absolutely devastating. At least she got to enjoy some real love and care at Daybreaks although naturally not the same as being in a loving home. Life is as we all know very cruel and unfair at times. General anastethetic is usually straight forward but for any procedure is not without risk. There was obviously no way of knowing that a rare reaction would occur. At least she would have been unaware if she was unconscious. Its gut wrenching and very sad for the proposed adoptive family. May you rest in peace with Bez and the other girls and boys in the lovely peaceful pretty spot at Daybreaks. Just feel so incredibly sad. Run free sweetheart. Xx
