3 years today since you gained your wings my darling boy and the pain and whole your passing left still doesn't get easier. Miss you so much. Very sweet though as Mia has all of a sudden decided that every night before bed she has to kiss and cuddle my necklace with your paw on it and sat 'night jet, miss and love you!' Now, I am under no illusion that this is to stall bedtime for 5 mins whilst she goes through this routine and asks the same questions 'if I talk to jet in heaven does he hear me?' And 'if I cuddle his paw will he feel me?'...but it works as she gets an extra 5 mins of awake time lol! But I know that even though she was so young when you passed away, she does still remember you and I think genuinely misses you! All my love, mommy xxxxxxx

Ooo what a handsome sweetheart this boy is, and he gets my Gold Star Clean Kennel award today despite only arriving yesterday. He was very happy to come out for his breakfast and enjoy some ear scratches and cuddles. xx

Tiny by name but most definitely not by personality!! This sweetie can get very vocal, but I am sure it's because she is just letting you know she is there and not to forget about her please!! She bounces incredibly high when she spies her breakfast bowl coming! x This morning, after shouting at us a lot, once she had been fed and the hustle and bustle of early morning kennel routine has quietened down a lot, she was happy to lie stretched out on the raised bed in the run and watch the world go by, but you could tell she was remaining alert just in case she misses something! There must be someone out there just waiting to share their life with this pocket rocket! x

Daybreaks Diary!

It's been a very warm couple of days. Today was especially hot and it was difficult to keep,our boys and girls cool. Xx We had anew arrival, a pretty little girl called, Val. We are expecting a new boy in at the end of the week. Xxx We are busy getting things ready for our 18th Birthday Party this Sunday, please come along and help us celebrate. The fun starts at 11am until 3pm. There will be several stalls, light refreshments and a dog show, which is due to start at 12pm, please enter your own beautiful Greyhounds for a fun thing for them to do and maybe win a rosette! Many thanks to everyone for your help today, a big thank you to Shirley H, Richard and Shirley for clearing the weeds in the sand run. :)). We are hoping the weather will stay dry.... Looking forward to seeing some old four legged friends and new new ones too. :)) Xxx is t

Monty hugs are most definitely a lovely way to start your day. Kate said it reminded her of the iconic moment from “Dirty Dancing” except there was no way I was going to lift him up above my head!!!! He is a big strong fella, but when you look into those eyes……… xxx

A cuddle for our Tiny tonight. :)) She is desperate for her forever home to come along and start her new life. She is a very bright girl who is getting bored with the kennel environment and wants to be free to explore all the outside world has to offer. She loves affection, and would love a home where there is lots going on for her to join in, she will be a fun and lively addition to the family. Xxx :))

Monty gave Angie a huge hug this morning! He was on his way back to his kennel after his breakfast and couldn't resist saying Hello to her. 🙂 He is a big lad and with his paws on Angie's shoulders, he was much taller than she was. A lovely way to start the day! :)) Xxx
