Thank you for taking Mr Jet out this morning - the more he gets out and about the more used to the outside world he'll become and will realise he doesn't have to get so worked up about everything!! He is such a loving and fuss loving boy who really deserves his chance now. He gets my cuddle today, and my wish that my screensaver can work its magic again very soon! xx

Took this handsome boy out to the Sheldon country park walk today. He travelled beautifully in the car and lay down all the way. Walks really well on the lead and met a few non-greyhounds. He showed a friendly interest in them but didn't seem reactive. We heard a few squeaky barks from him but only because he wanted to join in with Rocky and Jet's chorus - I don't think he actually knew what he was squeaking at! He was really friendly and gentle with our greyhound Katy too. He's a great fella and will make a fantastic pet so I really think he won't wait long for his sofa

Pretty little Daisy came with me to Sheldon Country Park today. She seemed a little nervous to start with but soon settled when we got walking. She was a pleasure to walk. She travelled well and made me laugh when we got back to the kennels. Within 30 seconds she was on her back with her legs in the air! She's a sweet little girl xx

Lovely to have met you and even lovelier that you and your baby have a forever sofa to call your own. You are both very similar to Melly & Teddy physically. Be happy sweetheart. Xx

Jet came with me to Sheldon Country Park today. As usual he was extremely keen to get out of the kennels and explore. He travelled well and enjoyed his time in the park. Lots of people commented on how handsome he is (he has a lovely black coat) and he adores attention from anyone willing to give it. Not to mention that he loves a good lean. He will need socialising but if you put that time in with him, he will repay you many times over with love and cuddles xx

Scarlet is so pretty. She wasn't going to get off her bed for me (can't say I blame her as it's very cold today and who would get off their under-heated bed if they didn't have to!) but she was very happy being fussed for as long as I'd stay. She'll need some TLC and time but who knows what character is hidden under that shyness 🙂 xx

I met this little sweetie this morning. She's a very pretty girl and loves her fuss. She doesn't seem bothered by her wonky wrist but it looks like it'll need some attention as she grows and gets heavier and puts more weight on it. I'll be happy to help with any physio she needs 🙂 xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

How great for these lucky dogs. I think most newly homes dogs believe their name is No for the first few days!! Fortunately they learn very quickly. Hope for Ruth and Andy's sake that pups learn just as quickly! Xx

Are you keeping liza and tigger Ruth? That would be fantastic, they'd be so lucky. I'd love to know a bit more about their story.
