2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Well, blink and you missed them!! Breezy and Candy went home today! :)) Two very lovely girls who I am sure will bring lots of fun to their new owners! They will be sharing their new home with two more girls, the family's lovely little Lurchers. Xxx Dotty found herself reserved again and Alex met her soon to be new friend Rose. Xxx Another new arrival! The very handsome Bubba, great name! It suits him... :)) Thanks to Bob and Declan for collecting him for us. Xx The new van was well and truly christened today...it had a trip to the tip! 🙂 Alan brought Paddy and their new PA Spritzy with them today. :)) Lucy gave Spritz a lovely pamper while Paddy chilled out in the office. 🙂 They do look so good together. Xx It's wonderful we have had several of our beauties homed or reserved recently, mainly girls..it would be great if some of our special boys could find their forever homes too. X Xxx

Varus (Andy)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Today we said goodbye to Varus. He had stopped eating over Christmas and tests eventually led to a diagnosis of cancer. We have had around five years with this funny, daft, sometimes smelly, loyal and beautiful dog. He has been a large part of our life and leaves a big hole. Thanks to all the staff at Wombourne Vets and thank you Varus for a great ride, we’ll miss you.

Stanley is friendly, gorgeous big lad who loves cuddles and knows his name especially if you follow it with 'You're a good boy' which he is he had got a very nice personality. Xx

Bubba was a little uncertain initially, not wanting to get off his bed to come for a walk, but having gained his confidence, he showed what a lovely boy he is. A bit strong on the lead at first but soon settled and eas a pleasure to walk

Dotty travelled to Notts really well. She managed to find and eat my corned beef sandwich! She was fine with the seatbelt on and snoozed with Benny. Had a good sniff around the garden when we, finally,got home. They both ate their tea and are now settled in different rooms ! She’s a bit like my shadow at the moment but will soon gain her confidence.
