Thanks so much to Norman for taking Mayah to the park this morning. She had a great time! Such a funny little girl. Loves everyone, loves toys, loves life! :)). She is desperately trying to set up a Daybreaks Choir...she starts singing and all the other girls and boys join in! I love her! Xxx

Molly has settled well in the house. She likes being near people but also happy to stay upstairs sometimes even when we’re downstairs. But when she does come down, she loves being next to us on the sofa. She still barks at running dogs on a walk but she came out with some friends and their dogs this weekend and soon got used to the Jack Russell cross madly running around, and no problem at all with the cockapoo who walked quietly with us. She was very interested in looking at other dogs but didn’t bark. We do feel that she will gradually improve with more experience of meeting other dogs. She loves her walks and eats well, gets in and out of the car easily and travels well. You really wouldn’t know that she’s just turned 10!

Mayah was an absolute pleasure to take to Elmdon Park today. She settled down immediately in the car travelling in a very relaxed manner She met a large group of dogs in a very friendly manner with no sign of any problems whatsoever. She's a very affectionate girl and at only 2 years of age hopefully will have a long happy life in her future home

We have the lovely Truff Truff on foster now. She’s a delight! You almost don’t know you’ve got her. She settles well in any of the (many) dog beds around the house, clean in the house and sleeps the night through (even when I get up to let one of the others out at silly o’clock) and walks well on the lead. I took her to our greyhound walking group on Saturday and after a few small rumbles because she was initially unsure of everything she soon got in the groove and enjoyed the walk and was fine when meeting other breeds. She lay down in the cafe while we all had coffee after the walk. She’s not interested in people food and ignores us while we eat our tea off trays on our knees. Truff Truff would be an ideal first greyhound for someone (or even a first dog for anyone who hasn’t had one before). She really is a sweetie just waiting for a home of her own.
