This little lass was speyed at Fivelands today. She was dropped off this morning by Kate as a bundle of energy and this afternoon I picked up a little sleepy girl. She has a very sweet dainty face and I have added some photos of her taken in the back of my car.

What a lovely homing photo of Sid and his new sister Maisie in their matching coats. I saw them together at Sid’s viewing on Thursday and he and Maisie got on so well straight away - I think it was love at first sight for Maisie! Have a wonderful life in your forever home Sid xxx

It was great to see Sid again today. He looked wonderful with his very shiny coat...I'm not surprised sweet little Greyhound Maisie fell for him when they met today. It was love at first sight for both of them. Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

A very busy day today.... We had two beautiful new arrivals, Babe and Penny. They are both very happy and friendly girls. Xxx Super Sid has been reserved! Thanks so much to his foster folks. Maggie and Paul for bringing him to the kennels to meet a very pretty lady called Maisie. Having recently lost her friend she has been feeling very down. She was very happy to meet Sid who reciprocated by giving her several kisses! They chose each other. 🙂 Xxx Bobby has been reserved by two of our lovely volunteers. Such a very handsome lad. Xxx Ash came in for a pamper and left looking and smelling beautiful! :)) Xxx Thanks so much to everyone for your help today. Xxx a big thank you to Laura for giving Skip a pamper too. He really is a very hairy Greyhound! He was such a good boy and didn't mind the hairdryer. He was incredibly fluffy when Laura had finished...anyone my age who remembers the cartoon, "The Hair Bear Bunch" will know exactly how he looked! :)) Bless him. Xxx

It's my gorgeous Nadie's 3rd Gotcha Day today. I've just been reading all of her posts. Her trainer said she can be bossy. Haha. Too right she can. She is very sweet a lot of the time too - especially when she's on her own. She's just been on holiday to Wales with us. The boys stayed with a friend. She had walks on the beach, went to pubs and restaurants and had her first trip on a train (narrow gauge railway). She travelled the long journey exceptionally well. She's donated blood 7 times now and is working towards her gold good citizen award. For her Gotcha Day Caroline The Pet Sitter came over and we put up an agility course in the back garden and had kongs and other toys to play with - and for her brothers. Then cuddlepillars. I love my three greys so much and will be forever grateful that Simon sent that first initial photo of Nadie (rhymes with Maddy for a good reason haha) to me. There was no way she was going to anyone else 🙂 x

Hi Rob. Molly’s doing well. We’re gradually seeing more of her character coming out. She’s now learned how to go up and down the stairs so there’s less whining when we’re not where she is! Paul bought her a new toy the other day so she has a little play with that every now and then. She’s eating well and eats better if she’s in the vicinity of our dogs rather than being in a different room. She really loves human company but doesn’t have to be in the same room all the time, just so long as she’s nearby. She’d be ideal for someone at home a lot and doesn’t need a lot of walking. She’s a real sweetie xx
