Rose is being a fab house guest... Whilst her foster mom is at a wedding.... She is still being assessed, but so far is great with kids and other breeds. She can do stairs both up and down by herself and has found the sofa. X

We lost our 13 year old boy, who was also called ‘Gent’ just 2 weeks ago. Noticed that this boy’s Mom is called ‘Josie and Amanda’ .... Is that my boy Gent sending me a message from the Bridge? Mand xx

Soooo..... we have the fabulous calendars and Christmas cards at the kennels on sale. With Christmas coming if you are stuck for a special gift for someone - why not order a special gift from myuniquefamily.co.uk. For every order, if you put GREY10 code in at the checkout, 10% of all orders will be donated to Daybreaks Trust. The memory baubles and pictures are just beautiful. 2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Karen one of our volunteers brought her two gorgeous whippets Gracie and Rufus to the kennels today to do some "meet and greets" with some of our residents. Ratty, Shabby and Lecky all did really well. Stan was a little more keen...don't think he could quite understand what they were especially as they were wearing Christmas coats and hats! 🙂 We also did some cat testing....sadly no one passed this particular test today! Not to worry, sure there are plenty of cat free homes out there for them. 🙂 We had lots of walkers today :)) The dogs were able to go for longer walks this morning. And included going "off road" along the public footpath by the farm. I believe they all enjoyed it, so much so that Ratty didn't want to come back to the kennels! We had to send Norman out with a bag of tasty treats for a little bribery. :)) Thanks to Lucy for the new photos on the website, I think you will all agree we have lots of beautiful boys and girls in the kennels at the moment. If you can't adopt at present but have Greyhound experience maybe you might like to offer someone a foster home for Christmas please give us a call. :)) Thank you so much to everyone for their help today. 🙂 Xxx
