2019 Daybreaks Diary!

A funny old day today, no Angie, hence me writing the Daily Diary. Not many volunteers this morning, so the kids had a nice stroll around the sand run. This afternoon saw more volunteers so the dogs had a nice walk. The gorgeous Raven went home, if a little reluctant to get in the car, he has a lovely whippet brother called Skye to play with, good luck sweetie. Thanks also for the generous donation of duvets, towels and bedding, very much appreciated. Apart from that a fairly quiet day. Wishing a speedy recovery to Ruth, thanks so much for your enquiries as to how she is. Still needs to take things easy, I know she misses being involved on a daily basis, but she needs to get completely better. We are all thinking of her. Xx Anyhoo, as Angie would say, it's wine o'clock. Take care all, thanks again for everyone's help today, signing off. Jo. Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

We had a lovely new arrival today, Fairy Slippers! She is a very pretty little girl. Thanks so much to Alan, Richard and Lucy who had a trip to the track to collect her for us. Xx There was no rest for the wicked as we then sent Alan, Richard and this time Declan to collect some household items that have very kindly been donated to us. 🙂 We did let them have a rest and a cake on their return! Thanks so much to Alan for the cakes and Happy Birthday for tomorrow. 🙂 Thankfully, Lecky is much better today. No more diarrhoea! :)) She is a very quiet girl who likes to lie on the floor watching the world go by. Xx Honey and Mitzy are sharing a kennel. They are very happy together and are always playing. :)) They will both be going off to their respective homes in the next few days. Sure they will bring lots of fun to their new families. Xx Great to hear Gracie's leg is improving already and hopefully Patch is doing ok too. :)) Sending lots of love to our other poorly Daybreaks girls tonight. Ruth is still recovering from her recent operation and Sara had a seven and a half hour operation yesterday and faces yet another tomorrow. Xxxxx Thanks so much to everyone for their help today and thanks to Lucy for the lovely new photos of some of our residents. Xxx Xxx

I hope he continues nicely and it would be great if he were illness free. Kidney disease & cushings, which my previous lurcher had, are not always easy to diagnose, especially in the very early stages. Keeping everything crossed for a positive diagnosis on being free of anything unpleasant.
