A big cuddle for Alice tonight as she has sadly lost her big brother Eddie tonight. Eddie was such a big loving character in every way and we will miss him loads. Sleep tight big Ed, free from pain and running at the bridge. Another bright star shines xx

Jack's had a really good first day in his new home!! He's got 2 new toys, a new bone and a lovely fluffy blanket! He took a few hours to settle but now he's happy as Larry upside down on his bed haha! He's been on 2 walks and he was so good on the lead! Looking forward to a happy future with him ?? cx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Well, what a day! We had an extra couple of volunteers this morning, thanks so much for coming in and giving your Sunday morning up. This meant the residents got a morning walk. This morning also saw gorgeous Turbo now called Jack go off to his forever. This afternoon we were short on volunteers and inundated with visitors, Bella was rushed off her feet, as I was kept busy with queries and yet another homing, this time for pretty little Evie go home. The dogs all had a lovely grooming which they thoroughly enjoyed. Sadly Fifi was returned this morning, her family are very upset about this, as mentioned on her profile, they feel she would be more suited to a home with either older teenagers or as an only child. If you would like more information about her or any of our hounds, please give the kennels a call. Anyhoo, now trying to get warm along with a nice glass of wine (or 2) as Angie our Friday diary writer would say. Thanks again for everyone's help and to all who took the time to visit us, and to Liz_Beth who took lovely Nick out for a couple of hours, he really enjoys being out of the kennels for a little break.
