I have read Will's history and know that this is a great loss for you, but I can see also that you are amazing people who loved and treasured your time with him. Lucky boy, not all Grey's get that. Whenever I have lost a beloved hound I take some comfort in the fact that in time I will heal enough to give a home to another sweet dog. Once the breed steals your heart the cycle begins and more find their forever homes with you. God bless Will and you. Forever in our hearts x

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Awwww Jetlucy what a shame we are back in Brum. Sounds as though Jet is having a real blow out down there. Finn says the food in Cornwall is Fab and the Carrot Cake at the "Cornish Bakery" cafe next door to Costa Coffee on Bude's main street is to die for. We always buy half a large cake to take away. It's the only way Finn enjoys carrots LOL (and we have never tasted better). Finn is very unsettled since we got back. He made another raid on my teddy collection while we where out (forgot the stair gate) and we walked in to find him coming down stairs with one of his favorites, whilst Nina was munching on two others he had already put on his bed. Luckily they never damage them just soaking wet. Good job he never finds one that squeaks or it would be history!!!

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Fat neck fin, we've arrived in hartland, are you still in bude or have I got to fly the black boy greyhound flag on my own? You'll be pleased to know that since I've arrived I've had a some little cocktail sausages, mini cheddars, pigs ear , chip shop sausage, some cheesy chips and then finished off mom and dads cake washed down by moms water that was on the table! The owners of the farm are very kind and left me a doggie welcome pack with treats but mom says I've had enough now till tomorrow...boo! It was too dark to explore when we arrived tonight but mom can't wait to get out and explore the farm tomorrow so that'll be our first walk of the day...see I need all these treats to keep my energy up! Lots of love jet xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Today it rained!!! There was a torrential downpour all morning and it was much too horrid for the boys & girls to go out. They stayed dry and cosy in their kennels whilst the humans got soaked! This morning saw the arrival of 2 beautiful new girls, Lass and Latina. Lass is a very bouncy friendly girl with such a waggy tail. Latina is also very sweet but a little quiet at the moment. They both enjoyed a lovely warm bath and settled very well into their kennels - and both enjoyed their dinner, licking the bowls clean! The sky got a bit less grey after lunch, and the rain eventually stopped so afternoon walks did happen and the dogs were happy to get out and about after being cooped up. Many thanks for everyone's help today, hope you all dry out soon! Really hope the weather improves for the walk in Sheldon Country Park on Sunday. If you would like to take a kennel dog out for the morning to enjoy the experience, please give us a call on 0121 782 7702. I'll close by making my usual weekend wish of red or green signs for our lovely boys & girls - and am now off to partake of a glass of wine or two (purely medicinal of course!!). Congratulations to everyone who made the dog show a success, and in particular all the bakers who produced a great selection of cakes. The lemon coconut slice was to die for, can I have the recipe lol!!

So hard saying good bye today to our handsome boy, made easier with the support and love from our Daybreaks family ! Thank you for always being there and for allowing us (nearly) seven years of love and happiness with our *Magical" Will. Heartbroken and missing him millions.
