Happy to report that we brought Fifi home this evening!! She's lost a lot of weight & will be on a special diet for a while but thankfully there is no lasting damage. Lots of cuddles and rest in store for the weekend x

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

What a beautiful day again today. Humans and doggies alike enjoyed the blue sky and lovely Autumn sunshine. A busy morning saw the fabulous Sally off to her new home, and pretty little Dew reserved. There were lots of health check and weight checks to do, keeping an eye on the boys and girls and making sure they are fit and healthy. Brandy is such a good boy during his check, I think he just revels in the human contact as he loves to lean and is very patient. Just wish we could get this boy into a home as he really doesn't like it in kennels bless him. We had lots of visitors to use the sand run and buy food, and some new volunteers too so the day passed really quickly as there was always something going on. Thanks for everyone's help today, and as another weekend is upon us it's time for my usual wish that some red signs appear for our boys & girls - it is the walk in Brueton Park on Sunday where hopefully some of the dogs will be out enjoying a taste of the outside world, and showing just how lovely they are. Who knows, maybe a home or two may be found too?! Tickets for "Daybreaks in cabaret" are selling well, give us a call to get yours and be part of a fun evening. Well, I'm off for my Friday glass of wine now - a chilled white I think to complement the lovely sunshine! Have a great weekend all. Angie xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

A beautiful day! The squirrels thought so too, there were lots of them around! 🙂 Nick is in the kitchen run and seems to enjoy watching the comings and goings in the kennels. 🙂 New lad Jimmy is a little shy at the moment, Carol one of our volunteers came in and sat with him for quite some time. He enjoyed her company. Xx Ben was feeling brighter today after his neutering operation. Such a handsome boy! Xxx A big thank you to the team at Pet Search. They called to say they had some donations of tinned food for us. Lucy and I went and collected it this afternoon. So very kind of them. Thanks so much to everyone for their help today. We were all happy to see Alan who brought in the Thursday donuts! :)) Thank you. Xxx
