2019 Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
It was an early start yesterday with a trip to the vets in Moseley to take Ben in for his castrate. He was not impressed and did a big wee in the reception of the vets - ooops! Despite this all the nurses fell in love with him but he is spoken for and off to his new home soon. Thank you to Denise for holding the fort whilst I was out and also for collecting Ben after his op. I left him covered up with blankets last night looking very sad..... Our new arrival Jimmy is absolutely gorgeous..... hmmm if it wasn't for the fact that I totally love Nick, oh and Teddy, Liza and a few others..... ok - I will stop there! We cat tested Dew and Sally but sadly they both found Tyke and Socks just too exciting - thank you to Emily and Nathan our work experience students for helping with this. We are slowly learning sign language to help Nathan who is deaf - it is impressive watching John his support worker explain in BSL everything we teach. We had the JCB in to finish off the sand run and it is looking fantastic and I want to thank everyone who has helped achieve this amazing facility. I am over the moon at the news of Goofy (Nellie) being found - it means my planned 6.30am search for this morning with Julie now means I can stay at home and have an extra cuppa! Hugs to Skip and Kate and also to Nicole who lost Teddy along with witnessing a very tragic series of events.... love your family be it 2 or 4 legged x

Skip has been a very sad boy today and only left his bed for a couple of times for a drink of water. Hardly eaten anything...did tempt him with a Farleys Rusk in warm, watery milk this morning. 🙂 but he didn't want any dinner. He really doesn't make a good patient. Lots of love to my Skippy Doos.
