I look at this site everyday and when you see the red and green flags it makes you so happy for the rest of the day. Then you get home and get a lot of love and cuddles and even the little sneaky things they do when they catch you off guard brings smiles to your face. Very clever and loyal and everyone should own a grey.

Scream!!! Guess whose sign is turning green today!!!!! I am off to Rugby today to take Diddy's paperwork and can't wait to visit him in his new and very happy home 🙂

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Well yet another busy day today. We saw 2 dogs off to their forever homes, Emily now Ebony and Jean now Angel. Thanks as always to our Wednesday walkers, the dogs had 2 walks as the weather was cooler, much better for them and our vounteers! We had some lovely donations of tinned fish for the hounds, thank so very much. The kennels office had a bit of a tidy up and looks good. I went with Ruth to our Swan office to drop some stuff off, wow what an amazing space that is. Remember tickets for our remembrance night are on sale now, £5.00 per ticket which includes a lovely jacket potato and a candle in a glass holder with pawprint embellishment for you to light and remember our Rainbow Bridge hounds. Tickets are also now available for the annual Daybreaks show, this year not only will you have top class entertainment performed by our braver team of staff and volunteers, but also I am told there will be some lovely hot food to accompany this too. Book your tickets as soon as possible, this will be an amazing evening (as always) to remember! Thanks to Simon for coming in and doing some more work in the sand run. Don't forget the run is available to book all week, and has now been extended even further! Take care all. Jo xxxx

Well what can I say Jed is a phoney! He had a very small corn on his pad which I didn’t think could possibly have made him virtually non weight bearing and was convinced it was his lumbar sacral disease diagnosed about 7 months ago. However new X-rays show no tumours but also no lumbar sacral disease either and this vet is a specialist in radiography! In defence of the previous vets there was a lot of debate as to if he had it or not and marginal decision. Now off all medication corn taken out during procedure and an almost sound Jed. No excuses now for a short walk we have had weeks of just pottering!!!
