2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Today was great. Again a massive thanks to our Wednesday walkers and new volunteer Joe. Lucy had a booking for a pamper for Skip (the 1st dog I bathed, and also the 2nd!) and his brother Bert which I helped with, both looked and smelled lovely. Thanks for the donations of bedding. Darren and Ruth put the new kitchen cabinets where we think the are going to go, it will look so fantastic when finished. Great to see lovely Sully reserved, so very happy for him, long time coming! Kenny went off for his neutering this morning, thanks Lisa for collecting him, he was not too happy with his cone of shame, but had his dinner and went straight into his kennel, good boy. His new mom called to see how he was. Denise is a wonder, never stops, thanks to her and to Paul who stayed for afternoon feeding. Ruth, I hope you managed to make a dent in your paperwork. So many rehoming and reservations in the past couple of weeks, all due everyone's hard work .xxx

I'm trying to keep calm seeing my favourite lad Sully has finally been reserved but I feel like doing cartwheels in celebration. I'm sure Sully is going to make a perfect pet for his lucky family. This has made my day 10 times over. Fantastic news for wonderful Sully. Be very happy and hopefully I'll get to see you on a walk xx

Hi,Just to let you all know that on Monday we took the lovely Petal home for a trial and to see how she got on with Jay--akaRay--in his home.She is being an absolute star,dony know why she has been overlooked in the kennel for so long but am glad she was!!I don't think we will be taking her back!Having seen the red signs go on the 3 boys iits now all change since we adopted Jay nearly 8 weeks ago.Ruth and her "gang"do a wonderful job of finding these sweet souls new,and hopefully,forever homes

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Have just read ALL of Daisy's history and what a wonderful story of love and commitment by her mom, and also by Daisy who was tempted out of her anxieties because she had found "the one" who believed in her and gave it her all so that they could spend wonderful times together.
