Oh Ellie my Breeze is so jealous that you wear flowers in your hair, she just loves flowers - to begin with I thought she was sniffing doggie smells but she is the same if we have flowers in the house - her pointy nose in the flowers with eyes half closed - just loves the flowers!! Xxx

Happy Birthday beloved Daisydog. My beautiful girl is 12 today. She has brought wonderful friends and experiences into my life making it richer and happier. Always a fashionista and always ready for a drive with the roof down, ears blowing in the breeze.???????????????????? Daisy remarks ‘Chums for lunch and new Smarty Pants lingerie - what a fabulous birthday it’s going to be. Being 12 is all about the attitude not the number - I heard mum say that in February so it must be true????????. Happy seaside wags xxx’

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

We had another visit from Sal the Cocker Spaniel this morning, she had a play in the sand run then met a few more of our boys and girls. Handsome Will was especially good with her. :)) Ruth went out to collect the last pieces of our kitchen. :)) Work should begin on it in the next few days. Ruth also took Horsey to see his new home and carry out the home visit for him. He was great and she took a lovely photo of him running around in what will soon be his very own garden! So excited for him. 🙂 It was a good walking day; not too hot. 🙂 Thanks to everyone for their help. Kenny should hopefully be going off to be neutered tomorrow now his stomach upset has been sorted. It's Leo's turn on Friday...he has been getting rather "amorous" with some of the other dogs male and female, but has taken quite a liking to our lovely volunteer Lucy! His poor hormones are quite mixed up at the moment! Bless him. Xxx

I am amazed that super lovable funtastic Sully is still waiting for his forever home. When I visit Daybreaks he is the first hound I look for. I love everything about him. When his chance comes along whoever adopts this lad will be getting one hell of a gem. He's friendly and loving with a bit of playful cheekyness. He's a gentle boy when meeting other dogs,I still have fond memories of him meeting the french bulldog puppy at Brueton park. I love all our hounds but this lad is very very special xx

I second your comment about Sully. I have read all the comments left by the people who have met him and spent time walking him or in his kennel for a "huggle" and there is not one negative point made about this lovely boy. Just look at his photos. He is soooooooooo cute. Fat neck Finn got us just in time or Sully could be in his bed now LOL

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

It was very weird to see an empty room where the kitchen used to be! Poor Louis was most put out when he arrived with Sara at lunchtime. We are now using the kitchen at the back of the kennels. Took us all a while to stop going the wrong way! Can't wait to see the "new" kitchen. :)) Fabulous to see Sam now Rollo officially adopted. it didn't take long for him to get his little paws settled. He and Milly are a lovely couple. 🙂 Met the latest new arrivals Treaty and Nanny, both gorgeous! Now Nick and Horse have been reserved, Sully is the last of the boys who arrived from the kennels of the trainer who had to give up keeping Greyhounds due to ill health. It would be wonderful to see him find his forever home too. He is a really happy and friendly lad. Thanks so much to everyone for their help. it was a little chaotic at times today! :)) Xxx
