Bounty
I’m Homed
Eillie and Bounty came out with me for an hour this afternoon. They are both lovely girls, who walk well together. They must get on very well actually because they travelled together squished in the boot of my Citroen C3! They seemed quite bemused by the process of getting into a car and all the kissing gates we went through but with gentle encouragement they managed both. Despite the heat, they were really keen to walk and see what the world outside the kennels has to offer. Both of them are petite, sweet girls and would make a great addition to a family. It was my pleasure to spend some time with them x

Saddle
I’m Homed
I love Saddle and Roy, they are gorgeous. I met Saddle again today and he socialised with Arlo, my lab. I am chuffed to say there was a massive improvement and that I he reacted positively to being around a strange, new dog.

Beautiful boy. He came straight up to Arlo (my labrador) for a sniff and he was lovely and calm. He was certainly friendly with other dogs, including a bouncy lab pup. Laura

2019 Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
When we delivered the FFPs yesterday once again we where reminded of what a wonderful haven it is for the retired Greys and how dedicated Ruth and all you guys who support her are, and I know that all the reward she and all the volunteers want, is to see the hounds go off to a new life as a beloved pet (something most of them could never imagine when they finish racing) However they arrive at Daybreaks they get the chance of that life. Love and patience is what the crew have in abundance and it works wonders. The two brothers are a good proof of this and I hope someone can give them a forever home so that they will never be parted or at least foster them (FFP tee shirts now available LOL). I have to avoid looking into their eyes or I think it could be a choice between hubby or them and good men are hard to find at my age LOL. Anyway fingers crossed for all of the beautiful Greys, and once again Daybreaks take a bow xx

Oddbod, have a lovely visit to the kennels and I hope you fall in love with one of the doggies. Horse would be a great choice. Like jetlucy, I am completely in love with the black boys. I was privileged to share my life with gorgeous, sensitive soul Keano who I miss very much and now I have wonderful, happy, in love with life Moe who makes us smile a million times a day:) I am really looking forward to hearing how you get on, love from Carol and Moe xx

Skip had the stitches in his leg removed today. He was not very impressed and cried. 🙁 He has spent the day at home; he didn't even want to visit Nanny which is unheard of! He has perked up tonight and came out for a walk with us. Bless him. :)) Xxx
