Sage (Bobby)

So very sad to see Bobby come back at the kennels today. He was understandably quite stressed when he arrived but after spending most of the day with Ruth's dogs in the office he was much happier....Ruth has taken him home tonight. :)) Bobby is a big lad but very sensitive and affectionate. Do hope his next home will be his forever home. Xxx

Magical Bumble....fondly known as Bee arrived today! What a fabulous little girl. Xxx When we asked her Trainer to tell us about Bee, he replied "She is Perfect!" Xxx She is a happy soul who loves going for walks and loves everyone she meets. He said she was very settled with them and can't ever remember hearing her bark. He said she has been retired due to her age and hopes we can help her to find a wonderful forever home. Xxx

Buck (Buick)

Bucks had a very enjoyable third birthday and first in a home…equal measures of belly rub rubs, treats, snoozeys and pressies……he has had a very excitable 6months (at first he was reactive to lots of things and definitely the craziest Grey I have had the pleasure to have in my life)….he is learning manners and becoming less reactive so all is good and I have a lot to be thankful to him for, he came into my life at a quite a sad time and has helped his mommy smile a bit through it all, couldn’t be without him even with the perfected whine to get what he wants!!!!!!!!

Daybreaks Diary!

Another soggy day...... I think we have had our fair share of rain this week..... Poor Mikey was paddling in his kennel yesterday as the drains couldn't cope..... I took out the drain filters and dried him off..... bless him! Thank you to the Wednesday morning volunteers for helping move and sort the Christmas 'stuff'..... now the nights are getting darker early, it is soon time for a pretty Christmas Tree I think!!!! It is NEVER too early if it is something to cheer us up! 🙂

Daybreaks Diary!

I arrived this morning a few minutes late due the horrendous traffic, and wow a new surface on the drive and car park. No more walking to the car worrying if you would slip on mud or stone. Great to see Minnie and Lucky go out on foster and trial. Sad to see Quivers come back, she wasn't settling and was becoming more stressed. Things have to be right for everyone concerned, both dog and humans. Thanks to Denise, the Wednesday walkers, Chris and Mollie for their help today. Ruth was on office duty attempting to sort a mountain of paperwork and sorting items for the Christmas Fayre on Saturday. There are some lovely items up for grabs. X
