Today Google popped up with a photo of a big brindle girl lying under the acer tree in our garden. This reminded me that two years ago Belle became part of our family and she hasn't looked back. We all love this big cuddle monster and we are so proud of her achievements too. She passed bronze and silver good dog citizen training thanks to Julie and we are working towards the ultimate gold standard too. On top of this she is a regular blood doner and she will be doing her bit again tomorrow, all the PBB staff love her and say she is a model patient. Here's to many more years of fun and frolics dear Belle, hope you enjoyed your special roast chicken dinner, it was soon eaten. I know she will be delighted to see her friend volunteer walker Jo tomorrow at Daybreaks. Love and lots of hugs to our special girl xx

What a great day! We saw the gorgeous Cassie (now called Coco) officially adopted after being out on trial. Whilst this was happening, our new arrival Becky turned up..... and before we knew it, she was reserved! We had a team in from Virgin Media yesterday who spent a whole day in the sand run. They have made it safe enough for the Trust dogs to use but until essential maintenance is carried out, unfortunately the sand run is not open for visitors. Mikey and Zavi had a fantastic time running around and playing.... such great fun to see. I will put a video on to Facebook later of their antics!

Good luck to Bocko and his new family. It would have been lovely to see him and Prince homed together, but it was not to be. On the upside it seems that they are only a street or two away from each other so will be able to meet up occasionally and stay in touch with each other, how nice for them. Xx

It was lovely to see Bocko go off to his new home today. He was so excited to see his Dad arrive to collect him! Bocko does have a furry friend to live with a gorgeous collie cross called Paddy. Wishing them all happy times together. :)) Xxx

My beautiful Wendy had a dental just under two weeks ago. After a slightly distressful night she recovered very well and was given the all clear by the vet today. She's such a happy hound- always smiling and following her friend Jinky around house and garden. She's been an absolute delight from day one- I can't believe I've had her now for nearly 4 years - they've flown by - taking two house moves in her stride!

A warm day again today. It was a quiet day for visitors. All dogs had morning and afternoon walks, thanks to everyone for their help today. The inmates all had teeth cleaning (those who would put up with it)! and grooming done, and health checks were done. It was lovely to see River reunited his owner after her recent hospital stay, they were both over the moon to be reunited. Thanks to the foster families who took care of him until he could go home. I said my goodbyes to Bocko who is due to go home tomorrow and little Angie who is due to go on Tuesday. Once again as always a massive thanks to everyone for their help today. Xx

Fantastic to see River go back home with his mom. He instantly recognised her and was so excited as was she. A huge thanks to Carol for fostering for the past couple of weeks and also to Ann who had him on foster before that.

It was a busy day which saw handsome Prince go off to his new home this morning. He has a fabulous new family. :)) Bocko will also be going off to his new home early next week. :)) This afternoon Angie found her self reserved. Such a happy, pretty girl. xxx It was a lovely day and all the residents got morning and afternoon walks. :)) Many thanks to all our volunteers for their hard work and for making our boys and girls feel very much loved with grooming, teeth cleaning and lots of extra fuss and attention. :)) They really do appreciate it. Mikey had another trip to the park with Kitty's family. He had a great time. :)) Xxx A big thank you to Pets at Home in Stratford, Morrisons in Solihull and Sheldon for their great donations of food and treats for the dogs. So very kind of you. Xxx Xxx

Our happy little Zavi has been with us for quite a while now and is ready to grab his new life on the other side of the track with all four paws :)) Yes, he is a little "potty" and will need lots of time and patience to help him understand what living in a home environment is all about. In return you will get a happy, exuberant young man with lots of love to give and who will probably change your life forever! :))) Xxx
