Betty has been a little more settled the last couple of days...she ate all of her dinner this afternoon which is great, as she has hardly eaten anything at all since she was returned to the kennels last week. Xxx

Prince

Thank you so much to Norman for taking Prince out to the park today. He really did need a change of scene and reading Norman's comments he obviously enjoyed himself and was such a good boy. Both Prince and Bocko have been very sad to find themselves back at the kennels, I know they were very happy in their home. Hoping they will both soon be in happy homes again. Xxx

Prince

With Bocko going out today for a viewing it seemed the right time to give Prince an outing to Elmdon Park I have to confess I was taken aback at what a fantastic lad he proved to be. I really couldn't fault him in anyway. He jumped into the car on his own and travelled well to the park. Although a keen walker he doesn't pull outrageously. On meeting other breeds he was calm and friendly with them. Also he enjoyed a small boy stroking him. He's a lovely lad with a real happy demeanour and will hopefully be finding his new home before too long.

Over the Rainbow Bridge
I got the message from the owner that Horse has passed away. It is so sad to get such news. I feel priveldged to have worked with him and the family to help improve his behaviour. My thoughts are with you all as he was such a nice boy. Run freely Horse.

Daybreaks Diary!

At last it was cooler today!:)) We were able to take the dogs out for their walks and they throughly enjoyed them. :)) They were so happy to be able to come out and spend time in the runs instead of having to hide away from the hot sun. :)) We were happy too! :))) Thanks so very much to everyone for your help today. Xxx xxxx She was most impressed to receive a hand made card from Shirley, Richard, Murphy, Drew and Frieda containing bone treats, which she did share with Skip and Cracker :)) However, I am not in her good books tonight....I forgot to buy our customary Birthday celebration Egg Custards when I went shopping yesterday! It was a pleasure to interact with Prince today. He stood quietly whilst I cleaned his teeth and was very happy to be groomed and have cuddles. When I glanced in before I went home he was happily splashing about in the paddling pool. Sensible boy. I do hope is forever home isnt far away.xxxxx

Archie (Zavi)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I took Zavi out today. He is very excited when being leaded up for his walk and needs firm control but he is such a character. Walking on a short lead he is very good, he saw a squirrel on the path ahead so up went his ears, a few firm 'leave it' and 'good boy' and he just carried on. Lovely lad xx
