It is with heartbreaking news that Winny broke both front legs whilst running. She was xrayed and the found she had brittle bone disease. The kindest decision was therefore made to put her to sleep. Devastated does not cover it. My thoughts are with her family who kindly adopted her in April this year after she was returned and also to Cath who fostered her and found her a home. Run free little one xx

Daybreaks Diary!

Thanks to Angie for opening up and to Karla my Friday college student for helping with the feeding and cleaning this morning whilst I took Rocky for his neutering. He was quite reluctant to get into the car, he must have known what was coming or rather what was going!! He was such a good boy at the vets, they all fell in love with him. I was able to collect him a little earlier than usual which was nice, he could hardly wait for his dinner. It was very quiet for visitors. Thanks to Liz for taking Mikey to the park, he is one very spoiled hound. Liz stayed for afternoon walks and surprise ended up taking Mikey on the walk. Not sure he was entirely impressed after his hour and forty minute walk this morning!!! Little Bluey was very unsettled today so Ruth has taken her home, hopefully she will settle soon back at the Kennels. All of our residents are gorgeous, so if you would like to visit any of them please give the Kennels a call.
