Delilah (Lass)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Nicola, you kindly came out to our house to meet us and see how dreamboat Monty (Khani) was doing. You said at the time that you so wanted a greyhound of your own and that the only obstacle was puss. So glad this is resolved and you now have beautiful Delilah in your home. Looking forward to meeting you again on the Stratford Walk (just missed you at Pets at Home recently). Take care and wishing you and Delilah much fun in the future. Bravo! Sarah J x

Billy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
We were lucky enough to meet you earlier today Billy just before Norman took you to Brueton Park and having spent time with you (getting to know our little Rosie), couldn't agree more re: whoever adopts you will be very fortunate. You are so gentle and just take everything in your stride. You're a beautiful boy and if by any chance you are still at Daybreaks on Friday morning, we'll sneak another little cuddle with you. Big hugs beautiful, T, J & R xxx

Well the wait to meet stunning Betty was worth while! We arrived just after lunch today and who should be in the 1st kennel but this little bundle of fun and what a welcome when I went in to have a cuddle. This beautiful girl gave me the biggest hug (whilst she stood on hind legs & had her front legs on my shoulders). Betty you are lovely and I am sure that your forever home & family will very soon come through Daybreaks gate and how lucky will they be when you choose to adopt them! We're back on Friday morning so until then, I'm sending you a massive electronic cuddle. Tx

Hi Caro, I like to see the last three ribs on my hounds, the other ribs should be covered and I can see the tip of their pinbones 🙂 My Lucy has a line of muscle along her topline with a normal dip about a third of the way along her back 🙂 J xx

Rosa
I’m Homed
Rosa was chosen by a couple in Nottinghamwho have anothyer greyhound from a different branch of RGT. She has not stayed with her foster family even though the foster family were VERY SAD to see her go (foster family had only had her since xmas day). Hence her being on trial to see if she gets on with the couples other grey before committing fully.... As everyone knows we take the interests of all the greys we home as our first priority. xxx.

Billy
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Billy only arrived at Daybreaks 2 days ago but has today paid his first visit to Brueton Park. What a fabulous dog to take out ! Completely laid back he took everything in his stride.Nothing phased himat all. He met other breeds of all shapes and sizes with no negative reaction whatsoever. He walks well on the lead and travelled well in the car. Its meeting greyhounds like Billy that make you realise how lucky we are to be able to volunteer at Daybreaks and meet so many of these wonderful dogs. When Billy finds his forever home not only will he be the fortunate one but so will be the family who home thiis fabulous lad.

Tommo
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hi Everyone-- Tommo here. I've been out today to that lovely Brueton Park. Its the second time I've been now and I'm getting quite used to everything that happens in parks- ducks, swans, children on bikes and scooters and of course furry things with 4 legs(big and small) so now I dont bother to bark at all these different things and just take them all in my stride. One very small fluffy furry came right up to my face today so I looked at him for a few seconds and dix give him a little nod to say thatsenough of that but because I always wear my muzzle I cant hurt him. If you look at my photo you'll probably see I've gone a it grey around my nose so I'm probably not as attractive as some of those cute little girls or brindle or blue boys. I'll tell you what I am though. I'm a real fusspot who loves to cuddle up to anyone who wants to give me a bit of fuss and I love all those other greys around me and could live without any problems with any number of them. I keep hearing everyone saying Happy New Year to each other. Although its fabulous here at Daybreaks kennels I know my idea of a Happy New Year would be to live with a family of my own where I can share all the love and affection I have in me with them. Perhaps if I'm lucky that will happen when that New Year starts.
