Hi beautiful Ash, I've gotta be quick as me Mom doesn't know I've mastered this laptoppythingymajig, but when I read your Mom's note about your forthcoming op I just had to let you know that I'm sending you the biggest electronic 'thought hug' possible. Big licks, Rosie Po xxx

Oh Melysa and Sam what a roller coaster, take heart that your vet now knows Ash very well and I am sure will be as quick with the procedure as possible limiting the anaestetic time. These hounds always surprise us and Ash is one hell of a fighter. Will be keeping everything crossed for you.

Hi Melysa. Sorry about Ash, have you asked the vet about removing the adenoma just using sedation? This is what our vet did with Floyds as he cant have general anaesthetic owing to grade 5 heart murmur. He was absolutely fine after. Are you on facebook? Love Becky (Archie, Floyd and Angel) xxx

Ash went to the vets this morning & his 1 large adenoma that has been bleeding hasn't got any better, so the vet says unfortunately he will now have to be operated on in 2 wks. We are obviously very concerned as they have said he is at a high risk of dying during the operation & also in the few days after when he won't be eating. So we are crossing our fingers & just really making the next few weeks with him count. The good news is it has now been sorted so that he will be meeting up with his old housemates, Louie with Muddy Paws & Kylie with Justine & Andy on this Sunday morning ( 10th Jan) between 10 30 - 11 00am! Can Bob's garden be secured for us then please? Th u x & I was also wondering if anyone at Daybreaks could please contact Ann with Emmy & the Bartley Green Crew with Isla to see if they could possibly make it? I just really want to do this for Ash. Hartstone, I don't know if you want to take some photos?!

Such a shame for both Grace and her would-be adopters. Hopefully a suitable home will be just around the corner. Xx

Well....what can l say....she is obviously saving herself for you Vince!!!! Please...don't say you haven't got the space for another one, we all know that you live on a country estate, and she wouldn't take up much room.....you could easily fit her into the east wing !!! 🙂

Sadly Grace has been returned today. She has not been able to settle at all in her new home. Her owners have tried everything to help her and are distraught at having to return her. We feel she would be much happier in a home with another dog to help her find her way in the big wide world. Xxx

Oh beautiful Maisie, so very sorry you have been returned again. Dont worry beauty, your forever home is waiting and I know you will be cherished during your stay at the kennels. We would welcome you at our house if we had the room but the house is already full with 6 greys in residence already! We too have 'mishaps' sometimes and also Nell is incontinent and has to have medication twice daily for the rest of her life. An understanding family awaits you who will, I am sure, find out the reason for your alleged mishaps. Good luck little girl, I will be thinking of you and you have my cuddle today - I hope it brings you some luck, you must be so very confused. Terry xxxxxxx

Tessa
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well the lovely Tessa has been with us for some time now, but even after all this time she never fails to amaze. When we first fostered her I did think she was deaf (never answered to her name). But its taken well over 18 months to get her to come close when asked. But if she needed all this time its o.k. But she is so well behaved you wouldn't think you had her here with our other three girls. She attends the Blood Donations with our Flossie and is so laid back. Hope her past family get to know she is doing well. Love from Sylv & John xxxxxxxx
