Glad to see Charlie Mouse is back to his old self.It is clear Charlie and his mum and dad are clearly bonkers about each other.When Charlie did his recall at training he ran to Melysa as quick as he could and clearly adores her.It is great to see such a fab re-homing X

That's really kind of you to say 🙂 He used to slink down onto his belly earning him the pet name collie-dog as he looked like he was herding sheep lol. Buffy (formerly Hello Buff) went to a lovely home with another greyhound via Monmore RGT so I suppose the chances of them seeing eachother again are slim unless both go to the GGG... Whatever it is he's been through he's obviously landed on his paws now! Enjoy eachother Xx

Morning all. I can report a fairly quiet night with only a few growly growls heard. These all came from Angel as Tilly is still trying to use her as a pillow and she's just not ready for that yet. I got a nice 'good morning' stretch from Angel when I let them both into the garden at 10 to 5 this morning and Kate got some nudges and even a few wags of the tail from her at breakfast time. xx

Albert
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Albert (along with Charlie) has been staying at our house for over a week now to help his foot heal following his toe amputation. His foot is now looking great and he is weight bearing with the occasional limp and his stitches are due out on Friday. In the house he is excellent - he loves laying on the window seat and is good on the lead and met a Spaniel on his walk yesterday and didn't bother at all. He really is a very loving boy. He does get extremely excited when his lead comes out and I am teaching him to calm down for this. My parents moved to New Zealand in June 2007 and I haven't seen them since this time. They are coming to visit this weekend and as they are not over keen on dogs, unfortunately I need to make my house as calm and quiet as possible. I think they think us having 5 greys of our own is already too crazy, so unfortunately Charlie and Albert will be back at the kennels - I desperately hope they find a home very soon.

Paul came along to the kennels today to work with Duggie with canine massage. He really is improving and now he is in the big run with Ginny and Arthur (Ice) he is so much happier and not barking all the time. He is a lovely boy - I am so desperate for him to find a home again.
