Thanks Wispa's mum, Angie seems to be going backwards at the moment last week she would come out of the kitchen to have a nose into the living room and dash back to her bed, but at the moment she won't leave her bed. It's only been a week since she has been with us so I am very hopeful she will get better with time. On the plus side they both seem to get on ok and have been without muzzles together since day two.

Hi Tinkers Nan and everyone at Daybreaks, we hope you are all keeping well and often think of the love given to the residents and visitors at the kennels. Jasmine (Jinx) has soon settled in with her big brother Bertie really well. She is responding well to her new name and now walks and runs in the enclosed cow field without her lead. She has a little selective deafness when other dogs are around as she just wants to play play play. She has really got a big personality now and can be quite cheeky but in the nicest possible way. She is very muched loved by all of us and has become a big part of our family. We are so thankful and grateful for having such a valued member to the family. Hope Tinker is well and I have told Jasmine that you have asked about her. I have emailed some photos and also shared them on Facebook xxxxxxx

Although Jed my dog is not obviously nervous he does 'jump' at large moving vehicles particularly lorries when we have gone through the village on our walks gentle reassurance seems to work with him and patience, everything is very new to them. I have also taken him into town with me as well to expose him to more people, children, cars etc it's just a steep learning curve but they are bright dogs and do learn.

  • Flo (Fern)

    I’m Homed

Well had Flo 2 weeks now and her character is slowly coming out. She has met Buddy quite a few times and he is showing her bad habits already. She has met quite a few different dogs out walking and is fine with them just wants to have a sniff and happily walk on, Cats are a different story. I welcomed her to the Tortoises over the weekend... Safe to say I'm glad there in a cage and in a separate room that she cant gain access. She know where she needs to go for the toilet even though its normally around 3am when she comes and wakes me up. She doesn't like sleeping on her own at night so we have allowed her upstairs where she happily curls up on the floor. will be on again soon to give a few more updates of her progress 🙂
