I really just want to echo want rumblesmom has said... Merlin and Sam are amazing together they absolutely melted my heart today they have waited sooooo long for a home of thier own I cannot think why they are still here, but the longer that they are the more they seem to just be the best of friends it would be wonderful if they could find a home of thier own but even more amazing if they were together ! I know many people are unsure of the big boys and two boys together but honestley I have two big boys and they are just amazing together, they have never had a cross word ever and now are really funny like an old married couple !! I know Merlin and Sam would just be the most amazing hounds to rehome they just need a chance !!!! I felt so sorry for them today ( although they were totally happy and waggy tailed as always basking on thier beds in the Kitchen run in the sun ) but I would love them to get thier chance !!!! x

Thank you everyone for their messages – very helpful and I definitely won’t worry about the tongue thing. Just a cute, occasional quirk of Al’s. Al met his new owners yesterday and they couldn’t have been more lovely. They sadly lost their greyhound recently so are very excited to give Al a home and it sounds as though he will be thoroughly loved and spoilt. I am continuing to foster Al until he goes to his new home shortly. I will find it very difficult to say goodbye but I know he will have a happy retirement. Hi Willow and Ann, I am really looking forward to meeting you both and I am sorry that Al won’t be moving into the office! So funny Willow is Al’s aunt! Plenty more gorgeous greys at Daybreaks though…..xxx

You're a true partnership and we have massive respect for your achievement at such a high profile venue......so far removed from our cosy church hall on a Saturday morning. As much as I love Sam and merlin and I really do especially when they shower me with loves and kisses I really think it,s about time somebody snapped them up -they are really good fun and such good boys there must be somebody who would love to be spoilt by this lovely lad and his buddy merlin xxxx

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone on the stand at crufts, we were both made to feel very welcome and had a lovely time. Jack is exhausted but loved all the attention. It was nice to speak to so many people who are interested in rehoming a greyhound and to be able to give them an insight into what gorgeous dogs they are. Jack behaved so well, i cant believe how good he is after just 2.5 months, he really is amazing and we wouldnt be without him. He said hello to lots of other breeds and was perfect with them all. Thanks again to everyone , we look forward to seeing you all again soon! Xx

Lovely little Isla was a pleasure to walk today and she loves lots of fuss. I always bring a treat with me to coax her back into her kennel as she would rather stay with you for lots of cuddles. Such a sweet girl.
