Today is Coopers 4th birthday, we had a serious talk yesterday that as he was going to be another year older he needed to calm down and be another year wiser. Apparently it was a conversation wasted on him, still nuts and fruit loop!!! He came to work today and shared the office with Maisie Moo and Chase. Anyhoo, today's birthday dinner for you who are waiting with baited breath is sausage, chicken, vegetables, rice, a little gravy and grated cheese mixed in. X

Daybreaks Diary!

It's started to get cold again, so all dogs are tucked up nice and warm in their kennels. Thanks to everyone for their help today, we were a couple of people fewer than usual but all dogs had both morning and afternoon walks. Special thanks to Liz_Beth for taking Mikey out to the park to meet his family so they could see what a good boy he was on the lead and around other dogs. I had a call from them to say how lovely he had been and that they are really looking forward to collecting him on Tuesday, everything crossed for him. There have been offers from both Liz_Beth and Katerina's family to take him on walks as they would like to stay in contact with him. Chase had a viewing which has resulted in him having a nice red reserved sign. Sadly, Joe's viewing has been postponed, but should hopefully be re-booked in the next couple of days. As always stay safe and well.

Once again had the pleasure of Mikey’s company on a walk to Brueton Park. He is a pleasure to take out, not bothered by people, other dogs or even people on roller blades. We went on a different route and he loved exploring. He is such a lovely boy and so loving. The people who have reserved him are so lucky and we wish him the all the best. Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

It was a quiet morning so we took advantage of the extra time and had fun with the dogs. We got the games out and they all had a go at finding the treats! Of course Mikey was the best and the fastest! Little Timmy got bored after a few minutes, he preferred lots of cuddles and Jess wanted to chew the plastic bones! :)) Joe, Sophie and Bee seemed to enjoy trying to get the treats. Xxx Thanks to Patrik, Noah and Ami for joining in with them. :)) This afternoon Mikey went out with Katerina and her family. As usual he had a lovely time. Thanks so much. Xxx It's great to see so many RESERVED signs for our lovely boys and girls. Xxx Joe and Chase have people coming to meet them tomorrow. Xxx We will be having more dogs coming in over the next few days. :)) If your Greyhound is looking fir a new image....we have new fleeces and Winter coats for them to try on! :)) Xx Many thanks to Sam for helping me feed the dogs this afternoon, I am very grateful! :)) Xxx

As Angie said it was a crazy day. The gentleman who reserved Timmy went home and had a good think and decided that he would also like to reserve Timmy's litter sister Beeswing! He has been unsettled at the Kennels so hopefully with having his sister with him he will be settled in the home. What can I say, Mr Mikey is a very lucky boy, he worked his magic today. The lovely couple went home to have a serious talk, they are experienced greyhound owners and have homed from us previously, it didn't take long for them to call and reserve this lovely boy. Mikey just couldn't help giving the gentleman lots of kisses. There will be many a tear shed when he goes home, tears of joy for him. Many thanks to Angie and Chris for closing the Kennels up so Dave and I could leave a bit earlier to collect Chase from the vets after his neutering, he was very bright when we collected him, he is currently staying with Dave and Maisie Moo. If you would like to view him please contact the Kennels and we can arrange for him to be available to see. Take care everyone, after the crazy, exciting day today I feel it's wine time!!!
