Sam

The handsome Sam came with me to Elmdon Park today. He is an absolute stunner and a cuddle monster. He adores his fuss. We walked for almost two hours and he thoroughly enjoyed plenty of sniffing and mooching around. We saw quite a few dogs and he was quite interested in them, especially the smaller ones. He will need a bit more practice in the park, but it isn't a chore spending time with him!! Good luck gorgeous boy xx

Daybreaks Diary!

It started off as a quiet day today which gradually got busier as time went on. :)) Ruth and Alan had a quick trip to the warehouse. We have plenty of bags of Burns in stock now. 🙂 Thanks so much to all our morning and afternoon walkers. Everyone enjoyed the unusually warm weather for November. Ruth had brought Jess in with her. She is still a little wobbly but she was able to go for a couple of shorter walks which she enjoyed. She spent the day in the office. A very affectionate girl, who loves to cuddle up with you. Hoping she will make a full recovery. Xxx Thanks so much to everyone who brought in donations of bedding and towels. Xxx Jo popped in with donations of bedding she had collected. Xxx We had several visitors to use the sand run and also for nail clipping. Xxx Ruth had corns to look at. Lovely Gracie came in wearing her little boots. She suffers from nasty corns, like my Lyra. Gracie's owner and I both agreed if someone could discover a cure for corns they would be a millionaire over night! :)) Xxx Xxx

Just to let you all know flower has settled and being a perfect little girl, a joy to be with. She has made friends with 2 Labradors and spaniel. Flower is a very happy girl and will make someone's house a home.

Pops

Enjoyed spending some time with Pops today at Breughton Park. He travelled very well and settled in the car without any issues. He was really eager to explore and was sniffing at every chance he got. Pops got a little anxious around smaller dogs (especially those not on a lead) but showed no signs of aggression and just needed a bit of reassurance. I think he would benefit from more socialising with other breeds. He is quite strong on his lead at first but as the walk progressed he became less and less pulley. He wasn’t phased by bikes or children and seemed a lot more comfortable with us by the end of the walk. He’s got a very lovely face and a happy character and would be a great companion. We look forward to taking him out again in the future. Jackie, Ned, Liljana, Katarina xx

Alice

We have had the beautiful Alice just over a week now. The last week has had its ups and downs but this was fully anticipated. We have never been lucky enough to own a greyhound before and are having to learn all about Alice just as she is adjusting to living in a home. We are learning what a quirky dog they are. We have grown to love Alice over a short period of time. We hope that she will grow to love and trust us too. Thank you for giving us this opportunity xx
