I know exactly how you feel Ruth and I wish I could adopt her as well after meeting her for the first time yesterday. A real stunner and so friendly and loving too. Whoever does take this little girly home will have a friend for life. I can just see Bob now with his cheeky grin looking down at us all knowing we have all fallen in love with her. She would go well with my Sammy too...if only xx

I took time out from the office to have Ruthie cuddles...... and then she ended up in the office helping me rearrange things on the desk!!!! I wish I could adopt her but I just can't - I love her so much! She means a lot to me having been named after me by Bob who owned Daybreaks and passed away last year. I am sure he is looking down on her! She is a cheeky imp but has lovely big floppy ears and a lovely long nose and definitely had the right idea in not being suited to a racing career so she could start an early retirement.... oh how I would love to do that too!!!!

What an incredible year!! What a very quick year it has been. Heathmill Emer was a superstar... Penny is still a superstar!! We absolutely love this girl to bits. The way she sleeps on her bed (or on ours sometimes! Cheeky...) the way she is so kind to us, excitedly running round when one of us comes home now matter how long we have been out for, waits calmy for treats and softly takes them from our hands, she jumps up and wraps her paws round our necks for hugs and likes to be carried like that too sometimes!! The list goes on and on.... We all have no idea what our life would be without her, or without Daybreaks in our lives, we truly mean that!! MEGA HAPPY GOTCHA DAY PENNY - Lots of love always mom, dad, Chloe, Leighanne & Cash!! xxxxx

Thanks so much to Norman for taking Brook for an outing to the park this morning. Brook is quite small for a boy and seems to be a very sweet lad. Xxx

Brook only arrived yesterday at Daybreaks after a long racing career. At 5 years of age it was obviously a new experience meeting dogs of all shapes and sizes rather than the greyhounds he had spent all his previous life with. Not surprisingly he at first wasn't sure what to make of it all but at the end of our time in the park he was starting to react well with the other breeds. He is a very friendly lad who enjoyed meeting everyone he met. Hopefully he won't have to wait too long for that loving permanent home to arrive
