Rory
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Forgot to say....things are a bit confusing here at the moment. Our eldest son is called Rory, too. Any suggestions?!? Rory a super name (I know because I chose it for my son) but it'll be too confusing with Rorys. Suggestions welcome please! X

Hi everyone. I have taken little Rory home with me this afternoon so he can be in a home until he's rehomed. He's a super, super dog, so far done all toileting in the house, is great with my young children & has already made friends with my 8 month old little whippet. Poor Henry felt a bit put out by Rorys arrival out of the blue & he growled at him but, other than that, its all been fine. No food aggression, just a lovely dog. He does like to lean on your legs for comfort! Off for a walk in a while now they've had tea. I'll let you all know how he gets on! X

Oh I am so pleased that some really kind person has fostered Molly and pip, I was there when they were brought back today and I left with it playing on my mind, it made me so sad as they came trotting in and had no idea that they were going to be left after being in the same home for a number of years !! I drove home really really sad, also jelly was there looking a bit bewildered !! It is a really amazing job all the foster careers do for the greys xxx

Daisy (Dee)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
When Daisy and I came to the kennels on thursday we met a lovely lady called Jen who recommended I try a thundershirt to help with Daisys anxiety when out and about. I ordered one from ideas4pets thursday afternoon and it came first thing this morning. Amazing. Daisy has worn it twice already and she seemed less stressed on our walk and certainly was not pulling on her harness to get home. I will let you know f it continues to help. So a big thank you to Jen. The only downside is that it only comes in grey and Daisy was hoping for pink or a nice bright green! x

Yeuna (Sooty)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
A little update on Yeuna - what a clever little girl she is! Today is her 6th full day with us, she already knows that she gets her food after Daire & Annie, she loves her cuddly toys, we've only had 2 little accidents and they were on Tuesday morning, the first day she was left after coming home with us on Saturday evening. She has been totally clean in the house since then and will even wee on demand! She has settled in to Daire & Annie's routine remarkably well for such a newbie! The new name came because (1) Sooty rhymes with Annie & we thought it might confuse Annie lol (2) She didn't answer to Sooty but she does to Yeuna! (3) I think Sooty is more a boys name and she's too pretty to be a Sooty lol (4) her racing name Universal lent itself to a name like Eunice or Una hence Yeuna (a bit of both and I think a very pretty name for a very pretty girl!). Yeuna has settled well with Daire & Annie and is quite happy to bed hop with them (though Daire does look a little uncomfortable in Yeuna's smaller bed!) when they decide they're going to use her bed instead of their own! I still can't understand why she was brought back to the kennels - she's an angel!

Gosh Ruth you are having a very tough few days. Daisy and I send love to Joe for a good outcome. We so enjoyed our little trip to the kennels yesterday seeing you, and meeting some great volunteers and the gorgeous dogs. You do the most amazing work. And Joe is a fortunate boy to be loved and cared for so much.
