Buster has settled extremely well, and Diesel is a happy boy too (eating well, which he really hasn't done since we lost Brillo in April) I have been fascinated to see Buster's reaction to being in a home, exploring and scenting everything, Paddled well thru the mud and puddles on Julie's walk yesterday, my Husband said I could have ridden him! I am small, and Buster is a BIG lad. So far, so good/ hopefully here to stay!!!

Thanks so much for the words of support. They've really helped me today. To be honest, both me and Arthur have been quite quiet today. I took him out for a walk with hubby this evening and it was lovely to walk him again. He really is excellent around other dogs. A relative brought their dog round today and although I was a bit nervous, Arthur and Dylan got on fine. But they've always liked each other anyway. In the next few days I will be coming back to the boards quite alot to get everybodies guidance and advice, so please be patient with me. Also thank you again for all your support xx

    I’m Homed

Poor Milly is sulking after an interesting weekend! She had a bath at daybreaks yesterday which she hates (but I love coz she smells of strawberries and is getting extra cuddles!) we also started her teeth cleaning regime which she hates! So today to cheer her up we went to the free runnig session which she loved! However, when we got home we noticed she had snapped her dew claw in half and it was hanging off!! A phone call to auntie Ruth and then a visit to chez Boswell where the dew claw was pulled out well and truly finished off her weekend of misery!! Asleep by the radiator now and had lots of cuddles!! Thanks Ruth for always being a phone call away and giving up your time to help greys 🙂

Fire, aka You Little Tinker, latest, his way of waking me up from having a crafty snooze on the sofa - to nip my t shirt and drag me off the sofa!

    I’m Homed

Have just re-read my post, and when I said "not a bit of sadness" I actually meant it WAS with sadness that we decided to bring him back - sorry if it made us sound like meanies, we loved having him but were doing him no good atall. Just hope & pray that a prospective new owner can look past his grumpy display behind the bars of the run - because we know he can be so much different once outside. xxxx
