Are we not lucky! I (we) don’t, as rule, provide a forever home to a foster dog. This is because we want to keep availability for other dogs who may need my help with behaviour. After 5 months of no luck, we slowly fell in love with this very entertaining boy. Together with Ruth’s brilliant idea of Barney becoming a sponsor dog we could not say no. Barney and Caesar are good mates, if one gets up the other one follows, they play together and have brotherly fights. When Caesar does become poorly he will have Barney as support and a soul mate. Barney, is therefore also going to be important to Caesar. My wife tells Barney regularly “you are my favourite”. Barney can be a challenge in terms of behaviour but with the continued training I am providing to both Barney and Caesar they are getting better and better. We need to think about how we can let Barney enjoy a canal boat as he regularly tries to climb on to one when we walk along the canal. Mac is such a happy boy. He is interested in everything which,I think, is why he is quite strong on the lead. What a gorgeous friendly boy he is. Cuddles for him tonight. Xxx

Our two were strong when we got them- buying a gentle leader has been a lifesaver - they can't pull even if they wanted to! It doesn't hurt them - just turns their head around if they pull too fast which they find annoying...

What an amazing day!! Tiggy sends huge licks & woofs to everyone who came along to support her Greyt Get Together in the sand run today. The weather was brilliant, and it was so good to see so many old friends & hounds after such a long time. Thankyou to all who helped out today. The sossidge bobbing was a great hit with some very clever techniques being employed by some hounds to obtain their sossidge!! Thanks to the stall holders who came along to support us, and thankyou for your donations towards the day. Those, together with your incredible generosity, meant we raised the fantastic sum of £765.97 for our Daybreaks hounds - THANK YOU SO MUCH. Angie xx
