Today has been interesting… We had a long slow journey down to the caravan today… very slow with all the other cars in the way! I was good but got fed up towards the end. The hoomans were telling me I was going to meet Florence, I wasn’t sure what they meant but it sounded good. About an hour after we arrived the hoomans took me to the car park and there waiting was Auntie Klaire and Florence!!! So that’s what they meant! They have come to stay for the weekend. How exciting. We have got on very well. We have already had a tail wagging competition. We got some sausages from the fish and chip shop too!!!! Monty Xx

Molly is such a little sweetheart. I walked her yesterday and she walks beautifully on the lead - although she does have a tendency to stick her head between your legs as you are walking, which can get a bit complicated!!! Unfortunately she doesn't like being cooped up in her kennel and can get a bit stressed bless her. As with all our boys & girls, they just want to be a part of a family and be included in what's going on. Fingers crossed she has her chance soon. xx

This incredibly handsome boy is still waiting patiently for his forever home. He is a youngster, and therefore likes a bounce and a play and can make a bowl of food disappear in a minute flat!! However, he is quiet in his kennel and does like a lean and a cuddle - he also enjoys being out and about exploring. Let's hope his forever family will find him soon. xx

Just love this adorable little girl. She is a real live wire who just loves to play, and bounce! However, she walks like an absolute dream on her lead and really enjoys a kiss or two and a fuss. Fingers crossed she isn't waiting too much longer for her chance. xxx

It is always lovely to see the gorgeous Warrior when you open up the kennels in the morning. He is happy to see you, has a lovely clean kennel - but is obviously not impressed with my bed making skills!! Despite always giving him a lovely smooth bed, with tucked in corners, by the following morning it is scraped up into a heap with at least one blanket hanging over the edge touching the floor!! He is a real sweetie, who is a bit of a ladies man!! Lets hope his forever home comes along soon. xx

Completely agree with LadyVictoria. We met Roxie when she had just arrived and thought she was an absolute sweetie. Sadly we are not looking for another hound at the moment but if we were she would have been in the back of our car!

Paddy (Burgers)

Burgers, now renamed Padfoot/Paddy, has settled into our home like a dream. We were a little unsure at first because he was excited by our cats but with some encouragement and help from the team at Daybreaks we realised that actually this was just excitement to play rather than wanting to make them his dinner! Daphne (previously Jewel) gets on with him like a house on fire and they have been roaching on the sofa together and having zoomies around the garden together. They are pretty inseparable and always need to know where the other one is going! Paddy is a cheeky boy and is somewhat unaware of his size, standing on top of anyone he believes will give him cuddles. He is also very food motivated which means he likes to stick his nose up to the kitchen counters to see what’s on the menu for dinner. He is an incredibly sweet dog who loves to be cuddled and we are so glad he has joined our little family.
