Very sorry to hear things didn't work out for little Amber again.....I am sure the perfect home is out there. Her previous owners must be very sad to have had to return her. xxx

A little belated but BIG thanks to Ruth for yet more invaluable help on saturday, crate in situ with girls looking at it then me with the look that says 'you've got to be kidding!!!' Will keep you updated! It was lovely to see Jill too, had forgotten how you make me laugh SO much, always a tonic, thanks Jill. Of course lovely to see Fi with the lovely Princess Lucy as well n Blue's mum, sorry don't know your name, but you are always so friendly, especially with grumpy Goldie!!! I love coming to the kennels, seeing all those lovely greys for a munch, Red was definately the star on sat, even Dad was hooked, and just chatting it's brill. Definatley the best day ever when 12year old decided the dog we should have was a greyhound and then we met Jill.......amazing n then Ruth oh wow!!! So enough of this adoration, hope everybody who volunteers at Daybreaks has a good day and you are all VERY special!!!! Keep up the good work xxxxxxxxxxx

    I’m Homed

Hi Mand, Gent, Emily n I assume Dad! We've had our van for 6years, 2adults n 2boys(thats hooman ones!!!) having camped since the boys were little, thought we'd go up market, it's fab. Now to caravanning with hounds, we adopted Goldie in Sept last year, with a 'we'll worry bout the caravan' notha day. Well that day came on March 30th, having spent most of the week stressing n worrying bout how it was all going to go, oh n forgot to mention that in January we adopted Ruby(Joan), yep thats 1 caravan, 2adults, 2 boy,12&15 and of course my precious girls!! We have a 4berth van with an end bathroom, we make the double bed up n use the single bunk bed for the girls! So off we went, with an extra large box full girlie goodies, quite how we packed everything, we're still not sure but we did!! Arrived at the site, Kingsbury Water Park, fantastic place for Greys n not too far to travel on first trip. Set up as normal just put dogs on leads n hooked onto spike, they then happily watched proceedings. As for sleeping arrangements, well that was easy, boys in tents outside n girls in van!!!! When we're cookin or eating they snuggle either in the shower with a snuggly duvet, a fought after place, or snuggled on duvet in bathroom! We were away for 3 nights n it was fab. Thankfully we had no rain but it was chilly not that that was a problem, the girls kept us nice n warm!! We do have a small porch awning, so all girlie bits n bobs were stored out there, feeding took place outside as weather was nice though would have had room in awning if needed. We're off again this weekend, n this time I'm relaxed in the run up, and I know the girls just love it, Ruby spends all her time watching the world go by, with Gold, well she just sleeps!!! Please get in contact if you need any help or questions, it's a great way to holiday n even better with the girls Mandy, Goldie n Ruby xxx

Amber is back stopping with us and we had her before. She has been left with my dogs and we watched her on the camera and she was very settled to be left. She just loves the company of other dogs - especially those who play with her. She is clean in the house and a lovely playful little girl.
