This was our first trip to the kennels today, Katie was sooo chilled out, lying on the floor and not seeming bothered about anything. Lovely girl, XX

HI Deb. Thanks for your post too - we need all the advice we can get. Would really value Ben and Blue's Dad's advice. Been to another caravan place today. Must have been their only customers today in all this rain! Mand x

Hi doonie. We've looked at adding a porch awning, but only to give us a bit of extra space for muddy boots and washing paws!! Wouldn't dream of letting our two sleep there though. We're looking at layouts that'll suit our greys as well as us. Other half now interested in a horse-shoe shaped dining area, which we would make into the double bed and call it Greyhound Corner, with us making up the bed out of the sofas at the front. Thanks for your advice, a total novice to caravans - thank God for the internet! Mand x

Monty is the more nervous of the pair. I sat in his kennel today and he came and started giving me kisses on my hand it was so cute!

Would agree with the last comment Bark Inn is where greys go for a holiday and are thoroughly spoilt. You would have no worries leaving your babies there.

I'm with Petplan and I pay about £100 per month with a £90 excess for the 4 greys. You do get what you pay for, I had a bad experience with a cheapo insurance company several years ago when I tried to claim for treatment for one of my cats (google E&L problems). Obviously any existing illnesses which your pets have when you enter into the policy are not covered, but I have a 'life' policy whereby anything new going forward is covered for their lifetime and not just for the policy year. Petplan DO cover dental (which is not usual) however the dogs need to have an annual dental check in order for this to be valid. I have found Petplan are quite good with regards to price matching and most insurance companies will usually 'reassess' their premiums if you ask them nicely ;0)
